Game optimization

I merely suggested this based on personal experiences especially since you mentioned how your game was running fine before. How are you measuring your processor usage? Is it checked constantly every millisecond or updated by the second, five seonds, ten seconds, etc.? Because most of the time the utilization checks are an average utility value. When the game is loading and preparing assets by the processor to rendered by your graphics card can be a few milliseconds that isn’t always showed by simple utilities such as in Task Manager. These delays will however be noticeable in that they will manifest as stutters when loading into new areas or trying to load a lot of mobs.

I can use a car analogy if you upgraded your car to have grippier tires but didn’t upgrade your engine output, your engine will encounter more resistances getting the wheels to move (loading into chaos) but once it gets moving the difference will be less noticeable (you’re already a few minutes into a raid).

Try this method, this did the trick for me after troubleshooting for almost 2 weeks…

  1. Uninstall Easy Anti-Cheat: You have to do it from the game’s folder by launching the setup file (Usually SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Lost Ark\Binaries\Win64\EasyAntiCheat) and clicking on uninstall, and not repair or anything else, also make sure you uninstall it for every game that’s on the list because you can only see game numbers, not the actual game titles, and I have no idea which one is actually LA. I highly recommend to double check if it’s uninstalled by trying to launch LA, if it claims that it can’t launch because EAC is uninstalled you’re good to go to the next step.

  2. Permanently delete the entire EAC folder from your Lost ark folder (either with Shift+DEL or cleaning trash bin after deleting it).

  3. Verify the integrity of game files through steam. This will force steam to re-download and enable EAC for Lost ark.

  4. If you had any Nvidia or AMD settings modified specifically for LA I’d set them back to default but this might not be required. Also If you had launch parameters for LA I’d remove those as well for the time being.

  5. After this you should be able to launch LA and hopefully you’ll no longer have issues caused by EAC.

While this is not a bad PC, it is a bit on the cheap side when it comes to components. All of those sounds great, but they all (except of ram, don’t know which DDR4s you have) are basically - if you can’t spend more money, they will do.

So working together, they can create some bottle necks on CPU side and RAM - especially that H410 have troubles with high speed rams.

I never experienced any kind of troubles with LA, I’m playing on 3440x1440 and all highest possible settings + some ‘boosts’ to make it even better looking from AMD software. The game loads fast (launch is a bit long, around 20-30 seconds top - but doable), and performs well even with a lot of people on the screen (field bosses etc).

A lot of people are trying to blame optimizations etc. but truth is that in most cases it is just mediocre setup or components that don’t work well when put together (even if on paper each indivudal part is great)

Almost every game using EAC having this problem tbh.
Im playing Lost ark on JP which using Xigncode have lower CPU usage and load time compare to NA.

They realy should optimise all that. It’s a bit lame
