I really need help, i press the play button, the game launches but it says region unavailable and i m on romania, i have friends that are playing and i can t, why does it say region unavailable please help !!

and how do i check if my account is on an eu country, im pretty sure that it is but just to check

update: it is set on romania wich it is eligible to play

You are in Romania, have you selected the EU Region?

Have you tried to connect to any other Region?
If that fails, it could be either your ISP or some problem with your Network adapter.
I had the same problem with New World, and it never got fixed so I quit.
I hope you are more lucky than I was.

Thank you for contact us with the situation you have about the not loading game. Im sorry for the issue you currently have.

Can you please check your computer settings and make sure Windows is set to Romania? Are you using a VPN on your computer? If you are using a VPN, you must uninstall it.

Also try Toggling IPv6:

1)From the Start/Windows Menu, select Settings.
2)Select Network and Internet.
3)In the Status section, under Change your network settings, select Change adapter options.
4)When the Network Connections window opens, right-click your network connection.
5)Select Properties.6. Scroll to Internet Protocol version 6.
6)Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) box.
7)Select OK to save your changes for the selected network adapter.
8)Try launching the game again. A PC restart may be necessary.

After the step above:

  • Shut down the computer completely. Turn it on, then run the Steam client as administrator and try the game again.
