I was watching a streamer on RU server and he was going over gear progression.
I am a bit confused how and what gear is needed for.
Arena PvP is normalized and gear doesn’t matter here.
Mythic and Raids are also normalized ? Once you get to ilvl to enter Mythic and Raids your ilv doesn’t matter anymore?
Can someone please explain what is the point of gearing up then?
I may be wrong, but in PvE I think item level is only normalized in hardmode raiding, not regular
I am fairly certain only “Hellmode” Raids are normalized and from what I understand, those raids are more for vanity than progression.
Ivory is right. Gear matters in PvE. The only where it doesn’t matter is the FFXIVs “Ultimates” equivalents. Not sure if WOW has something similar?
