I just recently hit item level 1370 and was pretty excited about it since I was looking forward to getting the next level of stuff. I’m now learning that to get progress higher I am now being forced to do dungeons and raids with other people? Or is there another way to progress without doing that.
Being able to play casually at my own pace, at my own available time without relying on other people is what made this game fun for me. For the love of creatures big and small please say there is another way to progress without being reliant on other people.
Unas task and chaos dungeon, buttttttttttt, without doing all the content, it will take you a LONG time to reach the highest levels (which is not a problem) since in any case, it’s not your goal to play with anyone.
It’s not that I don’t want to play with anyone, i’m just very limited on time so I just like the ability to hop in game and do what I need to do asap haha.
I consider all content very fast. Of course, the first time is always time consuming, but then it gets easy. An example of this is valtan itself that took me a few hours the 1st time, and now we did it on the 1st try. You can chill easy on “depending on other people” Everyone shares the same feeling as you: Nobody wants to take time to do anything, because nobody has time after all.
I want that legendary gear that has the 3 tripods on it! Let be very clear, im super casual and still looking into all this stuff as i can.
I see stuff that I can buy on the AH but it says exhausted and assume thats not the actual piece. Or stuff that I can craft but you need to do raids/dungeons as a group and what not.
What server are you on, i play with 5 people that all have 3-5 alts, so we are constantly doing some kind of raids. We dont mind runniing some raids with you if you are super time limiited
You won’t be able to progress past 1370 without getting the mats to craft legendary gears from both of the Oreha’s hard mode abyssal dungeons or phase 1 Argos because t3 rare/epic gears are capped at that iLVL of +15. Those group content that I mentioned also don’t take a lot of time to do anymore so I would highly suggest you to do them if you want to progress any further in this game.
Yea i’ve gone into a couple of them just to see and failed because other people die. Thats where the “man why do I have to do this with other people?” kicks in. I’m glad there is group/raid content for people/guilds/friends that enjoy it, but being forced into it to get better gear is poopoo.
I suppose I just got spoiled with BDO’s type of gearing to where you can just farm up the currency and buy it albeit it takes a lot longer but still attainable solo.
BiS gears has always been locked behind group content. You can also up your chance of clearing by making your own party and inspecting the people who apply. Make sure they have the correct combat stats along with 1-2 lvl 3 engravings that is suitable for their class. You as well should also have the correct combat stats and engravings.
