Is it possible to add “Male” “Female” option to all classes?
That way if some players wanna be male or female they can pick whatever classes they want

Classes are getting their counterpart in the future, be patient.

You wont be able to pick whatever gender you like with every class. This with very high chance wont change in the future.
For some reason I like the system where class is bound to gender.
I dont know… this adds some additional uniqueness to each class.
I prefer a game with many classes and gender lock than a game with few classes and no gender lock. You don’t like husbando or waifu? Just ignore the one you dislike and you’ll still have many classes to choose from.
Nope. That’s not going to happen. It could be how they coded the game or design philosophy this is not the direction they are going. It is why they are introducing a mostly identical but still slightly different alternative gender version of existing classes.

the whole reason ur even getting counterparts is because they have stated
making another gender for the same class takes the same amount of work as making a new class
hence why they make different variation of the same job in a different gender
I just dont see any problem with that, most games got female, male options on all classes, well except a few and those are rare, but whatever sometimes I like playing as a women lol.
Seems like most of the people have no idea how much time game development or modeling costs…
If you have genderlocked classes you only have to create ONE model with only ONE version for costumes.
If you dont you have to create TWO base models and every new costume has to be created TWO times.
So simple mathematics. Lets say modelling takes 1 work day (8 hours, takes longer but we just go with this as an example).
So if we go with gender lock it would be for lets say 30 costumes: 1 base model + 30 costume models. → 8 + 30x8 hours = 248 hours.
If we go with the stupid idea of no gender lock it would be: 2x8 + 2x(30x8) = 496 hours
And if you would translate hours to salary this would be an immense difference. Not even thinking about capacity and so on.
Yes but those classes are NEW classes and not excactly 1:1 the same as before.
The idea is to have new classes here. => more content
This wont happen as the skill animations and engravings are non-existent for the other gender part.
I agree that somehow doing double work (which is split into two seperate work parts bc the new class comes later) is somewhat stupid if they dont recycle one or the other part of the already existing things. Still the work is for one class done one time and not double the workload. Talking here about when a class releases how much has to be done.
But this system wont change. KR does not have it for this year and most likely next LOA ON wont show sth like this either.
lol I know that… but you work double time, you will attract 40% or less maybe more players to your game, since some people like to play female, male each class. It’s worth it I believe, but again the Dev’s know better just a idea.
