Yes, it happened previously and was swiftly fixed.
Oh, I know itâs not about the clock. Read the posts Iâve written above. This is about prioritizing dupes OVER the clock.
Yes I do. Theyâve already identified the source of the issue quite obviously. The up to 2 hour maintenance is literally them just going in and tracking the items down to remove.
Which, if they didnât do immediately, would mean an even more extended maintenance later on.
I love when people come into threads, comment, and donât read the previous posts they need to understand the conversation but then suggest I should be the one reading. Ironic.
But you can just adjust 1 hour for clock times. Doesnât take a rocket scientist. That or turn off DST in your windows settings and it fixes in game clock times. (which takes legit 5 seconds)
Duping is a FAR bigger issue than a clock.
prioritizing dupes over the clock
I genuinely hope you donât work in a critical field. This is asinine to me.
Completely disagree. Fix the time. THAT isnât rocket science.
I can tell you arenât very bright, but thatâs ok. Keep trying. Because youâre completely wrong here.
Right back at you.
I can tell you arenât bright because you think OPINIONS are facts. Thatâs an interesting proposition.
You think something that can be fixed on the users end (albeit annoyingly admittedly) deserves more priority than an exploit that will spread and cause economic damage?
Agree. DST adjustment is solved code that is applied to thousands of pieces of software without issue. Them fking it up this many times is impressive.
Itâs a fact that duping is worse than the clock in the game, any logical person will tell you that. And like I said, you can fix the clock manually in Windows and itâs a non issue.
They can hotfix what they want, But I wouldâve loved to get A headsup without having to track the forums or the site. All I got in game was a sudden âThe server will close in 60 secondsâ
There was a heads up. (in-game that is, for about 30 mins)
The game was developed in Korea without the regard for DST. I can see how DST could mess things up code wise.
The problem is changing your system time breaks a lot of OTHER software and webservices. More people than you think do a lot more with their PCs than play lost ark exclusively.
It said on the bottom left 45 min before maintenance that there would be maintenance.
Any logical person? No. I am first and foremost a logical person. But, Iâm going to refrain from saying any more unkind things because logical arguments donât involve attacking a personâs character - which any philosopher can tell you.
Right - so donât do that and subtract an hour from what the in-game timer shows.
Again, yes, it should be fixed, and quickly ideally. But people who think a duplication exploit should be at a lower priority than a freaking timer, which is a separate non-related issue, are stupid.
