Getting Random Mail from what seems to be bots

Over the last 3 weeks I have been mailed 3 different times for over 70k gold combined. I do not know why its happening or who these people are. I accepted it the first 2 times because I assumed its a fluke but now I am getting worried. Could I get in trouble for this?

Yes.

No.
Nothing happens to the buyer, maybe the gold is taken back if it’s not used but otherwise you’re fine. If they banned users who accept gold in mail then people could get others banned.

Both sellers and buyers are getting banned for RMT, don’t listen to @shubasaur.

Do not accept the gold. DELETE THE MAILS. AGS will not give mercy even if you did not buy that gold and accidentally received the gold.

If you are innocent, burn the “evidence” and don’t even think for a moment it could be okay to accidentally take the gold!!

But since you said you already took some of the gold, you can’t do much else but plead your case to AGS. Or remain silent and hope for the best. But there is a realistic chance you will get punished nonetheless as AGS support is abysmally incompetent at the moment.

i can tell you,
as of the looks right now, they even perm ban you when you get a larger sum of gold you traded on d2jsp

I believe if AGS bans the bot that sent you the gold they will track all accounts that have accepted gold from that bot. Your account will be also banned. But you can appeal it to be restored. And you may have to wait while they further research your account.

Gold sellers send gold via mail to their buyers.
By obliviously taking “free” gold without questioning where it came from is putting yourself at risk.

Also many gold buyers will also use this same excuse to make themselves look like the victim as well and try to paint AGS as the bad guy. When they in fact did buy gold.

So again, never accept gold from a mail that you aren’t already expecting.
It’s quite simple.

Don’t accept it. You will get banned for RMT and if you use the excuse “I didn’t know who it was from and just got random gold in the mail and took it by accident” Amazon will think you’re lying and keep you banned

People send you large sums of gold three times for no reason? Come on.
