Consider this. Part of the biggest features of MMO is possibilty for emergent gameplay. You get notorious PK. They spend months hunting low levels as consequence they get hunted by other players when they get stronger. Players band together in the hunt, make new friends and defeat the evil PVPer.
Back in the earliest days of wow before there were any level 60’s there were a handful of highly skilled player killers. The were notorious for hunting low level and high levels alike. Always somewhere ruining someones day. As a result there was much conflict. Entire guilds would fight back and some would join. In the first two years they caused so much trouble I wouldnt doubt they are still remembered all these years later by many people.
I don’t think the same is possible in lost ark atm becasue of the limits on open world pvp but maybe with the pvp continent? Nonetheless you cannot predict the value of something that is entirely player driven. It is the unfairness which drives things to happen sometimes.
What do you think would happen if a coalition of PVP guilds in lost ark decided to permamently guard every collectible on PVP islands and do it in shift so there was zero chance of getting anything without a fight?
You pissed people off and caught some real “PvP”, now you’re in the forums crying like a baby.
None of us know the full story, but if you were only killing people on a PvP island, you should not have been banned.
With that being said, don’t be surprised if you piss people the fuck off and they find a way to remove you in some way. Legitimate ban or not, the people who reported you got you banned, and they get a nice good laugh out of it.
Man, you guys can debate all you want whether people like OP should be punished or not but Amazon Games support isn’t gonna care.
The fact that OP got punished for the act means that it’s considered as griefing in AGS’s eyes.
People are really snowflakes - if the game offers open pvp i have the right to kill you or even camp you. People who are reporting this kind of behavior are spoiled a**es. Also calling this griefing is big yikes for you. l2p

I reported an ass**** 2 days ago for troll killing the ice sculptures on the island, after i was hitting it for 30 minutes with a pan. It was almost 0 hp.

you can report everyone on the server and it wont do shit. You got flagged because multiple people report you, that’s a difference.

How am i contradicting myself? It’s exactly on paper. I enjoyed the content i got out of what i had to deal with. And as such just because you don’t enjoy it, doesn’t give you the right to report someone for it. I will repeat what i said somewhere in between the thread. What part of Open PVP do you people don’t understand? Jesus christ.

You’re contradicting yourself in this way:
- You explained how you would’ve dealt with it if you were in the same situation.
- You then proceed to say just because “you don’t enjoy it, doesn’t mean others shouldn’t enjoy it”.
Point no.2 instantly contradicted point no.1 because, get this:
- Just because you dealt with it, didn’t complain and probably didn’t find it a big issue, doesn’t mean it’s not an issue to others and others don’t have the right to complain/report about it.
Now, tell me if I need to further simplify it for you.

Should you be banned in league for sitting fountain camping the enemy team and not finishing the game? its a d*** thing to do, but shouldnt get u banned lol, they can simply decide to forfeit the game or leave in this instance if they dont like it

OPEN PVP. It is a case of “deal with it”. Doesn’t give you any rights to report someone for destroying your little statue/killing you and stop you from getting a collectable. You subject yourself to go there to grab a rare collectable? On an Open PVP ispand and expect to just get it easily without consequences? I get it maybe you hate pvp, but it is there and you have to deal with it.
Since it hinders others enjoying the game, hon. Like around 2006/2007 when grieving and killing everything even on PvP Server in WoW started to be bannable. And still is

The entitled assholes are those who think it’s something to brag about ganking others. Those are people who can’t live their bitchiness outside a game because they would end up in jail for it. So they live it here. But guess what? You get jail time in a game, too; named ban.
Thinking, everyone who finds this kind of gameplay only for people with small dicks, must be someone who got ganked and is a crybaby is stupid The last time someone tried this with me was in 2008 or 2009 in Stranglethorn with a Blood Elf Heal Paladin (me). And this someone didn’t got banned but got ganked by my entire guild for the next 7 hours while I was off questing

Anyway if people here are being farmed go to ocean chat and mention it there, there are people like me who will turn up and they will move on. Its always so funny to do till people their level turn up and they cant 1-2 shot people.
why didnt me or anyone else get banned then?
I literally sat and spawn camped guilds in both wow and bdo not letting them leave safe zones or they die for weeks at end, for like a year xD why didnt we get banned then?
Ok so im curious then first of all
- how do u do it in bdo? If i go and start farming a spot where someone is already farming and he kills me, i can then reporth im and get him banned cuz hes ruining my game experience
- If he doesnt kill me to not get banned for ruining my game experience he can then report me for griefing his farm spot and ruining his game experience
do i get this right? xD
also, how didnt like EVERY guild get banned in WoW classic during the Ahn’Qiraj event? guilds holding an entire hive for themselves PKing anyone who comes in to steal their mobs???
