Ghost ship claimed even though I left

At 6 pm today, I joined a ghost ship with 3 others in total. Naturally, we could not defeat it, so I left after a few minutes/deaths with the boss HP bar barely moving.
Now it says I claimed the Ghost Ship event, which I did not.

Please fix.

You entered the ship, which counts towards your weekly limit. The same thing happened to me, we couldn’t defeat the boss because it was a Low-Tier Ghost Ship and we didn’t have many players.

I did not claim a reward, hence it should not count.
Therefore I opened this as a bug report and not as a game feedback/suggestion.

Furthermore, I found this:

Since I dropped out, it should not increase according to that note.
