Give us back the original difficulty of the game

Guardians are not boss raids. They are farming content for mats. They need to be feasible at the level you access. If you can’t have require dps at the level you access it, game is not well balanced.

i would rather just log in and pvp ATM than go into these hardcore guardian things. i mean that monster disappears then re-appears somewhere else when it is about to die, why!

anyway. i have a worse issue to be solved now though. i get disconnected if i dont use a VPN to germany, i am from EU Bulgary.

definetly agree with you here.

This thread is a joke, if you have problems with your party members, just play solo the boss has less life like monster hunter.

Your answer is a joke for support.

No. Just get good. This game is already too easy.

If the lvl340 guardian is hard for you, you can stop the game now  The difficulty curve of the game is just perfect.

Honestly most Guardian Raids aren’t difficult. Most fights come down to an understanding of the mechanics and once you get used to them the boss will eventually die regardless of how much HP it has. I know everyone has different skill levels, but most of these bosses aren’t unfair and the game allows you to over gear them if you really want to trivialize the encounter and make it easier.

i would say its like the souls series … get good or get got. every raid boss got massiv amount of hp … an if u cant dodge the 2 - 4 mechanics its not the game which is bad … i personally think the only thing thats annoying in guardian raid is that u cant see the boss hp bar. but if u cant kill a boss … maybe u should try to outgear it to learn the mechanics ( which are most times like " dont stand there or move like 5 feet" ) or watch a guide …

Just saying, the boss supposedly scales by 50% more hp for each extra member so that’s not always thebest option
100% hp for solo
150% for 2
200% for 3
250% for 4
You can see how instead of being 400% for 4, it’s only 250% so it’s way more efficient in 4. Going solo does hinder you by a large margin, but at least you don’t have to deal with random deaths, so decisions decisions

Also, a guildmate said in KR you initially wiped on 3 deaths, not just run out of revives, and that you couldn’t refill hp potions after the first 5. Can anyone confirm that?

Because if that’s how it is, I think we have it way easier than KR

Lost ark is not a soul like, its a mmo + h&S like wow and diablo. If you want to play a soul like you have elden ring.

You realize people our out here soloing them?

It was like that in the beginning. Only 3 revives, insta fail if someone dies when revives are out. No refill zone, whatever you entered raid is all you have.
Got changed for every localisation later down the road tho

you kinda didnt get my point …

I personally disagree, it’s so hard to find a challenge in this game — I’d hate to see the only hard content at the beginning of the endgame nerfed.

If you want an easier daily clear — you should do them on a lower level, go back to the first guardian if you’re in a hurry. That one will be an easy 4-6min clear even if you have to do 50%+ of the damage yourself.

Look at you all, living your fancy pro gamer lifes - enjoying challenging content.
(Just a jealous joke.)

I’m close to 560 and stopped playing guardian raids after I tried Flame Fox Yoho multiple times.
I do not know if it is my age or if there are too many mechanics… it feels too much in general.
I do not want to learn movement patterns from multiple bosses for daily content!
I want to have fun after a day of work. This is no fun for me.

I guess it is not my game then. I’ll explore a few more islands - as far as I can get
and then I move on.

LOLWHAT? The difficulty on RU is higher than in the West, and the difficulty on KR is the highest. I also disagree with your statement that people can’t clear it. I’ve had only 3 wipes out of approx. 100 with random mates on guardians. That’s way too easy. People don’t even learn anything from the battles.

If you will do this you will stay before a problem about players who will be really online and play a game. Because a lot of players want to play casually and don’t wanna learn stuff and play hardcore. If there will be a choice with the same rewards that will not push people to play hardcore it will be nice for you.
There is the very little line between fun and hardcore playing on this way.

I do so. Problem is the time passed, and fact that most people rush to T3. No time to farm the gear needed if you can’t have tons of hours a day to play. I have more troubles in groups than in solo, due to time to kill. But LA is a mmo, not a solo game. In my mind, going with randoms on farming content have to be fast, with no care of gear/exeprience.

Well, the problem is that Smilegate turned every activity into farming content. I liked the guardian raids in the initial version of Lost Ark more(3 years ago I guess). You didn’t have to farm guardians every day. Guardians were much harder to beat, but you just needed to loot a guardian several times in order to upgrade your gear to the next level. After that you had to beat another guardian a few times, and so on. There was no need to farm them every day because upgrading the gear required another time gated resource(acrasium). People cried they can’t progress because they can’t beat the next guardian. But the difficult battles were much more fun and the rewards were perceived as more valuable.
The guardians were more difficult because the power level of characters was much lower than today(no decent engravings, no gems, no cards, no skill tree enhancements, no high gear quality and normally no overgear).
