New Edit Suggestion
Give us a global roster ID so we can maintain our identity in the open world when we are alt jumping! More recognizability for who we are across characters! I see lots of people that aren’t on my friends list so it would be cool to see who everyone is!
Give us an option to turn it off if privacy is important to us!

Having alt characters is an idea I have gotten used to, but I lose my identity when I swap to an alt.
I have Roster friends and without inspecting them and memorizing their stronghold name its hard to tell who is who. (although you can add memo thanks for nothing that)
It would be nice if there was some global roster ID so we know who is who when they are constantly alt jumping.
Maybe work it into the lore have a “Regulus Spirit” name or something. I am not a lore buff but it is just an idea.
For example if I switch from Warrstein to Arinari, I want people to know it is still me!
For privacy first people there could be an option to hide the global ID so they can keep anonymous while alting.
This is just a suggestion. It would make things more enjoyable in game by adding to the sense of community!
Would be great if there would be a line under each char in your (Roster-) Friend List where you could write yourself who that person is…
Oh wait, that already exists.
Yeah i see that but why do I have to do that? Can you explain that one mr sarcasm?
Plus you are missing the point, when you’re out in the world you have an identity tied to who you are but when you are alt jumping it means absolutely nothing. So it would be nice if there was a global identity visible to people so they can say hi when I’m on my alt instead of being totally oblivious to the fact that its me.
Oh for sure you can, and that thought had crossed my mind initially too! But it would be so much better if you could just name them whatever you want and people still knew who you were if you wanted them to.
Yeah there is definitely room for improvement, the same concept could be applied to have all of your characters in the same guild, so you would join a guild as a Roster and not as a character, it would make it so much better to be able to communicate with your guild members instead of having a character on each guild X_X
Yeah that’s different topic altogether, but since you mentioned it I just think that would be too far, because it would have big effects on weekly contributions and weekly guild tasks especially, where they would just become too easy and have to be retuned.
So I’m all for roster ID as a harmless sense of community boost but not for roster guilding i must say.
