I don’t agree at all. There will always be people complaining on the forums about something. If they fast tracked materials for honing, the no lifers would beat Argos 1/2/3 in a week and then be on here saying “Where’s the content?!” “No content, games dead!” Anyone who has played ANY MMO knows this is true.

They are already saying where is the content regardless because they have to run the same thing on repeat to get to Argos.

New World tried the same thing by trying to increase player grind for the current content. It only pissed off players there as well and that game had legit zero content LOL

This game at the least needs to try and not make the same mistakes in our region as they did in Korea.

Technically, it’s an open philosophical question about whether or not we even have free will. So finger wagging at people about how they ought to involuntarily react to a given sense stimuli will probably not have the effect you think it will. I’m enjoying my time in game, and if I had anything I don’t like its missing timed events because they’re only up while I’m working. I’m also not gunning to be 1370 in a month or feel that I need extra fast honing though so…

Yup I remember all of this clearly and it’s why I can’t help but feel like the decision to not include certain content wasn’t on their side.
The creator is like yeah we’re gonna give you the whole game with the exception of Argos afterward BUT you’ll be getting access to everything you need to get you there! We hope you enjoy!

Missing content, lack of communication, & a team of mods (whom I feel bad for) that have to sit on these forums and get their asses kicked because AGS or whoever didn’t release the game the way it should have been.
Now all of these “delays” give off the impression that players in the West just aren’t capable & can’t handle these monthly updates when the real problem is us not having access to the tools needed to get us there.

It’s really funny how much changes from each response to what was originally said, via translator. This whole forum is literally one big game of Telephone at this point, and everyone has themselves absolutely convinced it’s not. Throw in the trolls, the fake accounts, one thread literally inciting a near riot, I won’t be surprised when the forums get shut down because people start thinking it’s funny to making threats.

These are the same types of people that used to swat streamers, the same ones that always come around to just create dissent.

Regardless of the situation the game is in, this absolute mockery of civil feedback is gross.

While your post should have been informative for some, I’m afraid the fire is lit and literally nothing is going to slow the blaze. These folks will beat this horse until it’s unrecognizable. Good thing the forum is representing at BEST about 15 to 20k of this group. Well and all of their “friends, family, pets” that all feel the same way they do.

For this launch we have 15 classes coming and every 2-3 months we will introduce a new class. We have Legion Raids ready, with the Valtan, Argos, and more releasing.

I think too many players view the game as only “the latest content” where he’s saying “enjoy the journey, not the ends.” Obviously for some players this just doesn’t work.

honestly many players are just nearly finished with the game i didnt even play that hardcore and i did every single island and story quest just to now sit at 1340 waiting for honing patch and more legion raids its ok everyone can enjoy the game at his own pace but some players are literally done with the game argos is only highlight for them and many cant play it. The only thing im still missing in LA is collectibles but i was never rly a big collector and im only willing to put time in getting these if i see the game improve

Collectibles are like 80% of the game, and play a huge part in character power since skill points are tied behind collectibles…

Also, alts are a huge part of this game. They don’t give us two power passes or develop things like Knowledge Transfer for no reason…

Lost Ark is a completely free to play game. In an ordinary free to play game, there’s a structure where obstacles come up and the game pushes players to pay real money to advance or ease progress. Even in Lost Ark, there may be moments where it may be useful to pay real money to advance, but we don’t put in place specific obstacles.

But this is not the game we were promised. Nor is it F2P friendly. He did not tell us we would be getting stuck T1-T2 on every alt, have bad 1340-1370 progress, no chance to farm T3 on many characters, and make a total cashgrab market ploy. If this all comes in 4 months it is too late. They had the data. They knew this would happen.

The rox response is sad stuff. They still didnt get what is major problem and now they will delay all content by months? Looks like they have nothing in mind and they will start thinking about it. Who will stay here in another month? We will loose another 300k players minimum.

You already had the data to support the 1340 wall gate from korea players having the same issue years ago. Smilegate knew, amazon knew, the korean players knew. The only ones in the dark were the players who got there in game and now are mad. You can’t have infographics and graphs that show where players get walled off and then go “oh we didn’t know” LOL PLS AMAZON.

I don’t understand how it’s hard to add honing changes that have been implemented in other regions or add content for honing materials we are missing from t3. You just do it this week or the next and move on. It’s not that complicated. Obviously an excuse to milk the players who took the whale bait

I think people are missing the point as to why the community is upset. It is about the t3 honing rates and the lack of content that provides materials. We are missing things so a lot of the t3 players are in a 1340-1370 dead zone. Also some of the content requires 1370 ilvl instead of 1355.

Argos being added wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. What made it bad was no material content or honing changes were added alongside the raid.

And we return to the main problem. Argos has been released too soon. They could release Argos this month, but last week of March and a lot of F2P players (at least founders) could be doing the content first day since they were playing actively the game, without playing 8 characters.

They set an internal rushed roadmap (internal, because the players doesnt know anything about the roadmap) and when they released Argos they saw that people arent even near of achieve that content. Now they are on the way of delay roadmap contents and they are studying it.

So, the problem isnt only AGS is SMG.

AGS with the poor customer service with random bans, automated answers and we could talk about monetization, but theres a 1.000€ cap per day, so hey, this isnt an Amazon problem only, is players problem too. Ofc, we could add the horrible comunication about contents, but this isnt AGS problem only. You can rush Amazon to tell the players when they gonna release X content, but is SMG who whas the last word in this.

SMG (Who choose content patches) because they released T3 as it was in KR, when they knew that Dead zone (1340-1370) did a lot of players to quit and they had the great idea of doing it even worse, pushing contents from 1355 to 1370. Now the Dead zone is more like a Graveyard of contents (No boat ship weekly, no Yoho, no Punika abyss hard…).

Ofc, not everything is bad. Arkesia Gran Prix has huge rewards for our actual content (Free leg. card, a lot of pirate coins, a good amount of weekly materials…), being super easy buy everything in the shop.

And our daily login bonus, that if you didnt check all rewards, is incredibly good. Good rewards just for login daily.

About release of new classes…I think never seen a KR MMO that released a Global version with all classes since day 1 and didnt see a Global version releasing a new class monthly (Always every 2-4 months).

Players have a lot of reasons to be angry, but tbh, I dont see greedy and intended actions, I just see incompetence that sadly exists on every gaming company.

And if you think that I’m a white knight, you’re incorrect. I’m pushing ilvl like crazy, I’m sitting at 1365.8 (5 more pieces to +15 and I can go to Argos) and was at 1355 last Thursday. I’m failing A LOT, I’m spending a lot of gold to progress (Not swipping, just farming T2 and T3 with alts and selling some mats + books + accs…).

EDIT: This is my actual “honing data”. I know I’m probably below the average fails to achieve 1370, but in this kind of progression, you wont be lucky during all this trip and probably you gonna get stuck sooner or later.
