The game desperately needs a large injection of gold and silver. As it stands right now gold in NA is $10 for 1,900 gold which the vast majority of players would never pay. UNAs and abyssal doesnt generate enough to cover honing costs in any reasonable way and mats/professions are worthless at the moment. If we cannot generate a reasonable baseline of resources non of the mats we are handing out matter as everyone will inevitably hit the resource wall.

In KR and other regions, getting alts to T3 is not a problem so you can reasonably do lopang and other methods of silver acquisition. In NA, getting alts to T3 takes very long time AND a ton of silver, which means you are silver starved as soon as you hit 1370 and by then it’s simply too late to get your alts out of T1/T2 into T3 because you don’t have the silver to support their growth.
I agree, silver in NA/EU regions is currently not good.
Before we continue topic - if you are not yet 1370, do not even reply. You don’t have the experience to understand why this topic exists until you start honing between 1370 and 1385.

i have 6 charactrs in t3 and can do abyssals on 4 characters but im resource starved for gold and silver. at 1390 its 300g a click to try to hone.

Uhh never do this? That is a HUGE waste of gold. No wonder you people are gold starved. All of you are rushing too fast. If you feel like you have to spend gold to silver from the NPC you are seriously mismanaging your roster. There is so much silver to get through horizontal content and from doing lopang on t3 alts, it’s ridicolous to even think of wasting your gold on the NPC. Use those 10k and get an alt to t3 for lopang dailies and chaos dungeons!

There is a massive issue with silver income for sure, gold not so much… take advantage of people who want to push their ilvl to the max right now and just sell your unbound mats you have to make up some gold…
I can make on average in about 2 hours 10k gold easy… LIKE EASY, just learn how the market place works and what people are after in high demand and profit. This game honestly gives you LOTS of control to make gold, NONE however to make silver.
I make several 100k from doing lopang every 2nd and chaos every day on my alts even though they are only at the end of t2, probably entering t3 this week. I am at 1355 on my main right now and will hit 1370 around next weekly reset. I still have a ton of horizontal content to do as well. I see no problem.
I also already spent several million on my adventurers tome. I thought that might be biting me back later but so far it hasnt. I was back up to 2mil 3 days later.
at 1370+ i am way more silver starved than gold or even mat starved.
i do not think it’s a big issue though i could be doing a lot more to increase my silver income.

it’s only 2 upgrades left on each of the gear pieces and the rate doesn’t drop that much any more. My helm is close to +15 pity so it’s 5 pieces more to go. With the t3 mats my alts will bring in soon this will go a lot quicker. The books from the event help out big time as well.

Do you know how much it freaking cost to hone 1 item at 1370 above? Gear transfer is 125k, 6 pieces are 750k. 1 item max bar cost you 170k 6ilvl is 1mil silver. 1 hone is 27k silver, and it is RNG. Lets see how far can your daily lopang get you.

I want to be explicitly clear - at 1390 you need 300k silver, 300g to attempt a single hone. I have 6 alts in t3 and i cannot afford to hone on any of them bc they barely generate enough silver to sustain my main, 90k per lopang on each alt is a joke. fine ill take the bait that you can earn gold with the market but unless you are selling your greater honor leap stones nothing generates a meaningful amount of gold.
so you are forced to not do any honing on your characters for days at a time to generate reasonable amounts of silver or pay 10k g for 1m silver which is a rip of of epic proportions.
