Well, that’s what the forums are for unfortunately. Those complaints are inevitable, but one thing I wish people would do, is at least articulate their complaints better so that they could fall back on their reasoning rather than emotional discontent.
A lot of what you listed are things I’ve seen; funnily enough, most come from different sub-sections of the playerbase, which reminds me that it’s probably only 1% of each playerbase that comes here to bother complaining.

That is the best AGS decision and it was actually time. LoL closed the forum long time ago and actually it was for good. I am sure here will be the same. Forums mostly are place for trolls, complainers and unhappy people. I will miss only the class dicussion panel, it was helpful.

The forum is just a place where we can troll with these people. For this reason it was good but thats all.
Countless crying topic that a class coming sooner than the other is just…I cant even write down what is it because it will be instantly deleted by the system after 1 flag. (which was another big problem on the forum)
Need more employee by Amazon to “maintenance” the topics on the forum and its not worth it.
Discord and Reddit is more than enough.
People have a right to voice their opinion, be that negative or positive. Who are you to undermine free speech? If someone wishes to express their concerns or complain about a product then they should be allowed to do so. In youre case the solution is simple, nobody is forcing you to read through their post. I know you are starving for attention, and i can see that you got some here which is probably amazing for you.
You will have discord and you have reddit. But there people can’t troll so easy and can’t open useless topics one after another. Free speech has some limits. It has rules in everything.
Then you can write your opinion on the existing ones which is the same topic you would create so it wont look like yesterday.

If your interpretation of the crying is that, it is unfortunate. While I agree that the ways people give feedback can be improved, creating a curated echo-chamber only kills the game. This game is already in a bad state, if you want to downsize it, even more, you can’t really call it “healthy”.
Most posts crying for raid difficulty are niche and not popular.
The degree of gatekeeping is proportional to the design of the game. It’s both the quantity of the grind, a big part of Lost Ark, and the raid design, which in this case it has many wipe mechanics tied to one person or simply too many raids per week to do so people ain’t got time for others.
The aeromancer threads are normal. While I do not care which one comes first, I do believe 3 months of waiting and yet another class coming out during the launch of new content is not a good idea. The aeromancer release date throws a wrench at the part of “listening to player concerns” since it’s a big concern for people to release a class on the same date as a new raid.
I personally think that this is another negative impression of AGS by removing forums. Like I said before, regardless of the functionality, removing an open forum to move to a much more censorable/curated platform is never a good look. This will be bad for them as a studio overall, not necessarily just Lost Ark.
I love the forums. It’s full of Ultra toxic, and clueless people. Just complain complain complain, with the most 1head takes ever imaginable. I treat it like going to the zoo.
Sure, but most of these people were shitposting, complaining about everything, fighting each other and getting flagged. So what’s the point of doing that? And of course instead of making gold, they are coming here and spread toxicity on others. Im glad they will close this forum, it was clown fiesta anyway. Also i hope all crying babies will eventually quit the game, leaving dedicated playerbase.
Its because this place is filled with irrational people. Only a few stable adults actually treat this game like a game. Everyone else acts like their life depends on it.
This might come as a surprise, but many people who bother to come to the forums to complain about a game are part of the ones that are the most invested. People who are not dedicated have already quit the game, which is why you see such dwindling numbers. So saying that you want all crying babies to quit will only dwindle even more the numbers.
Even though most people might not believe that the crying forums do not rhyme with what big chunks of the community think, it definitely does. The biggest proof of that is the dwindling playerbase, where most of the key concerns have been ignored or implemented far too late.
Defending AGS to the degree some people are in the forums is just as toxic as the complainers and whiners. Different sides of the same coin.
Most of the rational people who are not clueless and Toxic from the forums have already quit the game because of AGS and SG management. Not surprising that the ones that are left are a majority irrationally invested players.
