Good job with the bot ban wave but they are back with a vengeance

The bots seem to be back with a vengeance. This is on NAW Enviska in Rania village.

NA west shandi last night ā€˜aussie’

Checked out the usual spots, even spotted a t3 bot repairing and on its way back to the chaos dungeon.

Yup. As long as there is profit to be made, more bots will be created. These developers need to read the book Freakonomics. Its a good insight into the study of incentives and how some things can lead to unintended consequences. For example, the reduction in violent crime rate in the 1980s and 90s was caused by the legalization of abortion and not from the increase in policing, tougher gun laws, or reliance on prisons. They need to approach this bot issue from a different angle.

competitive pricing, perhaps?

Nope! As long as they can ban bots… to frequently increase RMT prices, there is no need for going more competitive.

I mean we’re still at 220k concurrent after 3 days. I’m holding out

Does look like we have around 100-150k concurrent real people which I’m quite happy with tbh.

Nothing to see there just ā€œnew playersā€ actively playing this game

There will always be bots. Currently from what shadow fox says, they have an automated bot detection and banning in place. The question whether how good it is? EX: how long will it take for the script to detect the bot and ban from the automation? If it is under 24 hours, it is probably good. If days probably not, still need 1 week to see if the bot population is low and controlled.
