with New World it was incompetence and complete lack of direction, but with Lost Ark it will be nothing but a good old corporate greed.

it is not a mistake or a coincidence that :

  • Argos release in EU/NA was stripped from improvements that KR/RU received with the same patch (Guardians weekly, Abyss Trials, PVP honing mats, and massive honing changes)
  • Racing event is literally giving out 10% of the rewards the KR/EU version had - materials wise

i don’t mind P2W, if some individuals feel better running around with 1500ilvl, i don’t care as long as content is not locked behind paywall to even hardcore players.
SG/AGS is intentionally changing (nerfing) progression specifically for EU/US version to create such paywalls.

great game turned into short lived cash-grab, very disappointing

Well we all know that Argos was released too soon. A few more weeks should have been the best situation to give people more time to farm materials.

Also having weekly limits on things, which are set to daily limits on the KR/RU/JP version is a bit of a slap in the face.

But yes, know that this decision was made by the management over in AGS to milk the whales and to create new whales in the process.

I just hope that none of them are putting their finances on a knife edge, especially since the money they’ve paid will be useless, once the new honing changes are added into the client.
