hello! i’m struggling to understand this one issue with Guardian Raids Penalty. i made a party through party finder we got 4/4 and then it sent me alone inside and when i exit i got this…
not sure why am i getting a Penalty for leaving a “solo” Raid as if i left someone behind to deal with the boss while it was just me? or did i leave a ghost behind which counted as a teammate? can you please fix this issue? i believe doing anything solo and leaving. it shouldn’t count as if you left your team behind. it’s different when doing it solo and when doing it with a team. thank you!
I completely agree, the group all died on me and what wans I supposed to do, all of them did a mass exit on the game and I am sure they were on alts, but I could not leave the dungeon other then song of escape…
it’s like. you’re forced to let the boss kill you till you can no longer revive back so you can quit because the game is telling you “you lost so press this” like seriously… there should never be a penalty if you’re alone in the raid. it makes no sense to apply a penalty while doing something alone. you’re not affecting anybody by being alone.
No clue what exactly happened in your case, but when i missclick the wrong raid guardian or smth i wait 3 mins till the “Stop raid” button becomes available and if you drop out through that button you dont get a penalty, so entering the wrong guardian costs you about 2-3 mins instead of the 15 or 20 that the debuff gives you instead. I hope that clears things up a little
Seems like the problem is that you ended up alone in the raid, not the penalty for exiting.
A penalty is definitely needed so people can’t use the queue system to grief other players.
yeah i used song of escape cause the button wasn’t available to stop but thanks for clearing that up! i was so annoyed that it sent me in alone without the team…
yeah it sent me in alone i have no clue why that happened. and i got the penalty for using song of escape cause the button to stop the raid wasn’t showing.
of course i agree with that. i’m just saying there should be no penalty for people that do things solo without other people in the raids.
It is garbage developer ideas. Kinda like the garbage islands like Metus. They want people to quit the game out of frustration. There is no other excuse

This would help out when people missclick and enter solo by mistake as well.
Even if you can stop it after a few minutes it would be a nice quality of life change to allow exit immediately in solo runs
yep! that would be really helpful. cause like you’re alone in there why should that count as if you abandoned your team if there was no team to begin with? xD
i think it was 10/15mins or something. but yeah close enough! however it doesn’t make it any better as i wanted to do that and leave but instead i had to wait till the debuff is gone… i hope they remove the penalty for that and allow us to leave quickly rather than wait till the “stop” button appears. solo play shouldn’t have penalty that’s why i’m surprised there is.
True, its annoying but i think that it was implemented to combat rage quitters who would abandon the raids because they got a bad team. All i can suggest is use that 10-15 mins to do other stuffs in game like Unas, chaos dungeon, go on alts instead in the mean time
Sadly you must wait till the “quit raid” icon is available even if you’re solo… it’s so dumb that the game knows you’re alone and make the raid easier for you as a solo player but it doesn’t do the same if you enter by accident and decide to use Song of Escape. you’re forced to wait few minutes doing nothing till you can quit the raid normally else “you’re penalized for leaving your team behind” what team again?
it makes sense if you get penalized for leaving other player’s deal with the boss cause you’re being a jerk but as a solo player doing it by yourself and entered by accident. you shouldn’t be punished for using song of escape… specially when the game knows you’re alone in there and nobody is with you.
