100% agree with the OP. I stopped doing Guardian raids because they are too difficult and take too long. It’s not fun at all for me. The entire time I’m doing them, I’m stressed and unhappy. I hate them.
Yes, if I’m lucky and I get a good group, it can be done in less than 10minutes. But that’s rare. Usually, it’s 15+ minutes with a high chance of failure. That’s also true if I try it solo.
How about making a normal vs hard version? That would appease all the ‘experts’ who oppose any changes.
I could understand if it was a raid encounter which is the pinnacle end-game content, Guardians are something intended for you to farm for mats on all your characters.
I don’t really care as I am done with them, I just pump them out with stronghold missions for stronghold exp so you can increase them another tenfold for all I care. I think it is dumb to mess with the balance settings, this content has been tested over a long period of time in Korea and the health levels are intentional for what the content is.
If you want more of a challenge, pick up a set of entry level T1 and T2 gear and you can make the fights even more challenging, you can also lower engravings, remove gems and runes to what you think is a challenge level you are happy with. Everyone has the means to self-determine difficulty to make encounters harder/more challenging.
I do not think Amazon should force that on people who just wanted to experience the Korean adaptation of the game in English. I just can’t believe we made a Korean MMO more grindy than the Korean version.
Actualy, i did little comparation between ru and eu guardian. Similar char, build, engravings and stats. It took bit longer on ru cause i got as far as possible boss spawns there

OP, do you honestly believe what your relatively tiny group of guild and friends say represents what millions of current players think? The reason why you keep getting “insulted” (which is not, because they have pretty good reasons) is you’re trying to change the game for not just you, but for everyone. And if you think your friends reflect on the thoughts of the majority of players, you’re pretty wrong.
I’m not playing lost ark just to play a game full of braindead mechanics. And the fact that your raids take 15 minutes even though you’re apparently “very experienced” in these types… While everyone else who’s playing their classes right seem to be much well off in their clear-times for some reason, I’m not sure how you do not realize that’s a fault of your own.
There’s something called a rest bonus for a reason. No one is obligated to play every single day like you’re describing it. And if you’d go far as to argue “you lose out on mats by saving up rest bonus xp,” then you’re obviously not as casual enough to need a dumbed-down guardian raid. I’m juggling my work life and enjoying game life just fine, even without having to do dailies on all 4 of my characters.
You are correct on that but for each soul you skip you get 10 points and to get extra soul from kill you pay 20 points so you lose one soul when you skip a day. It is same with Una dayli missions
Interesting. Since a lot of people are coming to believe what we’ve been told by other players, that there IS a significant difference in health between versions, AGS should comment and dispel that rumor if it’s not actually true.
Whether it’s true or not, thousands of players have been told this now and have no experience in multiple versions to know if it’s true or not.
Regardless, I do think they need to reduce the cost of hp potion crafting. The gold cost of doing any content where you can only use hp potions is ridiculous. Most players aren’t even close to T3 gold income yet (which I guess is much higher?). We’re spending an absurd amount of what little gold we have on consumables.

Queue boss is the hardest boss in game… AGS need to nerf this hard! Many players ragequit queue boss because they simply don’t have time and patience.
The timing also unpredictable making dodging queue boss only works during very specific off-peak time normally 2-6 a.m in the morning.
The queue boss also can enrage during weekend prime time making it bigger and longer just like my… ![]()
It’s not AGS decision tho. They have nothing to do with developing the game.
Late to the party but can someone tell me, why I am „forced“ to do them both daily? Is there any additional reward for doing it twice (besides the normal rewards from the raid)? Just do it once one or two or three days and you will get double the loot next time. Doesn’t it save up the entries? If there is no additional reward for clearing both daily, then I really don’t see ANY argument why there should be only one. Besides that, 15min is not much for one raid. Or well, it’s ok. If we had no server and matchmaking problem in EU, then it would be really no problem.
if you do two runs, you get two rewards, if you skip a day you only get one reward from skipped day
Yeah I don’t really enjoy guardian raids either. I don’t really find them incredibly challenging more slogs to get through. I think the challenge/difficulty level is ok, I guess they just feel too beefy? Their health pools just seem inflated to a degree. I usually solo them on my main because its just quicker then finding 3 people who have no idea what’s going on. If the community was more apt at fighting them or I had a group of four people I knew to do it every day, it would probably be fairly trivial. As of now if I que for a group on my alt, 90% of the time there is a person who has 0 clue what is going and dies 3 - 4 times. The fights are cool to see the first time around and I appreciate the design aspect. Its just doing it each and everyday on multiple characters grows stale very quickly.
Korea MMORPG is famous for it’s grinding… compare with other MMORPG from Korea LA grinding is pretty good due to immense amount of contents and side quests.
But I agree Guardian boss can be a slog when we have to do it daily for mats (can always swipe and pay2buy mats though)

At 1340 guardian raids take at max 10 minutes. On average they take me around 7 minutes with randoms. These kind of posts should be filtered out to be honest. This is not a game issue this is skill issue.
if your runs are not 5 min on average, unfortunately, you are genuinely just bad, or inexperienced with the guardian.
I have 5 alts, I do guardian raids on all of them each day, and the average time on a bad run is 7-8 minutes.
the truth is, a lot of people are really bad at the game, and refuse to come to the realization, and attempt to just get better at the game.
just get better, or do them solo, and if you cant do either, then dont do the guardian raids, and suck it up.
theres no reason to nerf content that you can’t do because youre not skilled enough.
I’m sure it depends on region and time of day, but besides the first few days with most people going into the guardian raids blind, I haven’t really had an issue with groups failing or the fights taking super long. Outside of the guy with the multi-colored shield and the statues. That guy sucks and I had to 3 man it with friends instead of matchmake.
Maybe its ilvl dependent. I’m 1090 so just about t3. The queues take a little longer so there is noticeably less people in the range I’m at, but everyone seems pretty competent and we usually knock the fights out in 5-7 mins. Could be just the fact that the people who have grinded up to this point already take the game a little more serious I guess. I’m not super tryhard but I seem to be ahead of the general pop of my region (I know there are plenty of people in the mid 1300s already).
I will say, that the few times I’ve gotten on my alt (340ish) to mess around and do a guardian raid, it seems like most people are still learning the mechs or are just…slow with their reaction times. So if you’re in the lower t1 levels I get the complaints. I think things will get better and much faster if you just wait it out a bit and people learn the fights or, frankly, learn to play.
1 raid is like 10 mins. HOW is that too long?
