Guild task: “try gathering”. What is exactly to do? Some guild members gathered plants and nothing happend with the progress

I think you need to be lv50 to actually “take” the quest, right now only your guild has it selected but you personally can’t do it until lv50. I might be wrong though, would be nice to have confirmation of that.
I think all the weeklies of guilds are only for lv50, even the pvp ones.

joined a guild today and ours says “try logging” none of us are 50 though so i mean it’s pretty weird. i don’t even have any gathering yet i haven’t gotten that far into the game i think im close to learning it in game based off the welcome package list.
Yeah! Just gotta keep following the main story and it’ll pop up all the guide quests on how to do them and give you a “certificate”! 
life skills are not the problem. It doesn´t count for guild quests
same problem here with my guild. We have a few lvl 50 players, we join arenas and coop arenas but not counting at the moment.
according to the ingame guild guide quest a new member cannot make guildquests. You have to be a full member. And you will become a full member after 3 days. Hence we should be able to make those quests after our guild “trial” time is over

Some of the information is correct.
You have to be a full member. You have to be 50 to accept them. And you also have to go to your Uma Task menu and actually Accept or Start the quest.
I just finished the plant quest. But I’m also the guild master. I can confirm it’s working as intended.

It tells you what you need to gather, you can’t just gather any old plants etc.

Hi. i just had some issues with this myself, but i think i figured it. you need to be level 50 and get to the Vern castle and be able to do the chaos dungeon, i couldnt before but once i got to that point in the story i could, seems really strange there isnt any info regarding it. my only question really is, once the progress is at 20/20 and the weekly says a green mark on it in the list do i need to claim anything or just wait for the reset?

In order for UNAS TASKS to appear you must 1) be level 50. and 2) completed the Vern portion.
Being lvl 50 alone does not unlock them. You must complete the MSQ to get to Vern.
