The point is to make the discussions go somewhere by ourselves and to have a variety of discussions that are inherently fruitful. When there has been discussions about various topics that have suggested safe decisions (low work, QoL, no backtracking on previous development etc) for more on the minor side of things they’ve been listened and changed many times. Similarly positive topics about what people like in the game and what type of stuff people want to see are also warmly welcomed feedback
Having a dozen players bump and circle supplement reproduce the same ordeals is what kills all interest and closes the feedback loop entirely, especially when the discussion isn’t even fruitful in itself. Not to mention if it’s not something that can be fruitfully discussed amongst the community itself and is just heavily intended and relies on dev feedback. That is the least attractive discussion you could possibly have on any platform
There is always a selected group that will spend money. Look at mobile games like Farmville. That made billions of dollars. There are no “incentives” to farm the best grapes out there… but someone is buying them.
This type of game makes an artificial hierarchy. The better your gear score you are “knowledgeable”. Similar to people who collect rocks or anything of no value to others but definitely valuable to them. The more they own rare rocks the more they are knowledgeable in their respective hobby.
Btw spending money as a streamer or “content” creator is definitely incentivized. I don’t know about others. What bothers me is that some players think they are “Free To Play” when they are not. But maybe it is a weird hierarchy or flex.
lvl 10 gems are down right now are you basing it on blue crystals to gold?
Ok probably the supps will be more in lower lvls, will not help in 1520+ area.
Censorship is needed for the west culture. Artist and Aeromancer looks exactly like small kids. Some skins are inappropriate and break many laws in different countries. Dont forget the global version contain more then 50 contries with different law systems. Some of the skins are borderline with pedophilia.
benji atk and many others had to literally buy millions in gold in shards, and they still barely made it on time with una shop and auction house. costed them a shitton any normal player wouldnt be able to afford. You re dead wrong
You say that now but pretty sure a big chunk of the early (positive) reviews were botted af. After all, more positive reviews, more buyers for the RMT gangs
I think a big problem with the game is distinguishing the line between “alts” and “mains”
You see streamers with lots of characters that push into Brel territory right now, however for the average base this will be very hard to obtain and do without one of two things happening
Spending all your time grinding and gearing up, to the point where this starts to become a job
Spend money
I think realistically you’re supposed to have 1, maybe 2 characters up to Brel at this point without the factors I mentioned in point 1 or 2
But so many people needed to have their alts “Brel ready” to be able to do the content and reap the rewards
And now you have people who are having to do a 6 gate raid 6x a week with barely enough time to finish everything else
People need to stop thinking that the way streamers are doing it is the right way because for the average person (who likely has a different job and responsibilities) it’s not healthy
Alts should help your mains a bit by supplementing gold and what not, they shouldn’t be the mains too
If it is “lots” as in more than 7+ in Brel territory 1520 is more like whaling. Remember there is a 6-gold character cap. Anything outside it is very difficult to get to that ilvl not impossible but just difficult.
Any streamer that ever claimed they are "F2P’ was exposed or outright banned for doing something shady. That 300K gold necklace sold guy, that multiple deathblade carries run @1475.
Of course, this is different if you see a streamer doing hardcore mode showing their receipts. Some influencers like Kanon are open enough to show their spending habits. Which again makes a lot of sense for them to do so? Because it is tax-deductible and expedites them to do the content. Again for a content creator is a must.
The real question is do you have a “say” on product implementation or in this case content? I’d say no. It is not because you don’t matter as a consumer. It is because the crosshair doesn’t land and you are not the target audience. “Boycotts” don’t work either again due to the fact that the target consumer is generally not you.
Look at my example: If a group wants to change dailies to ONE instead of 2. They just won’t do it because the fact is that some players are willing to spend money to get OUT of it.
