I don’t know if the set is supposed to work this way, but once I proc reality on it (the 90 seconds buff) if I ever drop the hallucination buff, I can never get it back until reality proc goes away.
This is in fact how the set works if you read it. The hallicination buff is 6 seconds i think and if you refresh it with critical hits so that it lasts more than 9 seconds, you gain the reality buff instead, which gives more damage and an extra 5% crit rate. The reality buff can also be refreshed with critical hits. Once reality runs out, you can restart the cycle getting the hallucination buff, into reality buff, and so on. The buff times might be off i dont have the game open right now, but its the same idea.
Yeah, you’re right, the hallucination buff is replaced by reality buff after 9 sec of hallucination.
If the buff drop for time expired, you have a 3 sec cooldown before you can get the buff again.
The only thing you said wrong is that a crit don’t refresh the timer, but every 0.4 sec if you crit you gain back 1 sec of the buff (so you can virtually keep the buff up forever)
With the KR patch the crit will no more be needed, you get the 1 sec increase duration just by hitting.
I just realized in game the reality proc gives 25% dmg so it doesn’t matter if hallucination proc again, sorry misread on my part from the proc. The hallucination dmg is already added to reality, I thought it wasn’t.
