Harmony Shard Bug- Unplayable

I have tried to hone gear twice today, both times cancelled my attempt and instead took ALL of my harmony shards. It happened twice in a row. This bug literally makes the game unplayable. Please give me my shards back at the minimum and fix this bug.

Time of bug occurance- Approx 6:50 CST then again at Approx 7:35 CST

This same thing just happened to me. It took over 1500 shards in one shot. Have they helped you recover these?
