I was doing the second awakening questline and should have received harmony shards for doing multiple quests in the questline. As I gained some of these rewards, my harmony shard total increased but when I went to hone gear with the material I earned, all of my harmony shards disappeared. This occurred multiple times and having just logged in after some hours off, my main character has still not received the harmony shards I earned.
Update:
It seemed like my total amount of shards updated to a more believable amount after I completed 2 chaos dungeons but then went to 0 after only 2 or so upgrades even though the upgrades did not require anything close to the 12 thousand or so harmony shards I had before the total reset to 0.
