I would have liked something other than the guardian raid event too but use it to learn to play your/other classes while you can. Something is going seriously wrong if you fail one and it’s like 6 min practice with no reason to spend anything. I had one time where naresca just wouldn’t drop buffs when we clipped the tail so it can happen. It teaches mechanics and the boosts gives you more chances at dodging/countering a mechanic. I’m sure this is falling on deaf ears as most people who come to forums understand how to find info about their classes on the interwebs but get some practice in with other classes while you can
If they wanted us truly ready for Valtan in May the Naruni event was clearly the better choice, at least there it gave people above 1370 solars. The guardian event i didnt touch for 2 weeks cause all my characters other than the lancer i just made was 1370+
Why does putting content out mean they want people beating it that day??? Look back at EQ and how content was out months before people could beat it. Most who played it loved it, progress mattered now it’s like; okay, on farm 3 hours later. A challenge would be cool but we know what’s in the pipe line already
