the royal and regular crystals is mad confusing and that conversion page dosnt help much either
Take the new skin for example how much does that cost? I buy royal crystals then buy blue crystals to buy the skin? How much is the skin worth in gold? How much gold is worth crystals? lol sorry if this sounds dumb but its too many currencies!
also what is considered a decent amount of gold? how much does a piece of end game gear cost?
I would not recommend selling RC unless you want to whale. It’s not worth it.
There is a one time buy Lv. 50 gratz in the store for Blues that’s decent due to the ratio.
Other than that keep RC for slots, Character re-skin or Skins if you don’t have blues.
The typical conversion rate on RC to Blue is around 240 RC to 100 Blue. Gold varies heavily. Blues went down to 380g per 95 for a while and now it’s back to 600g per. Likely due to the new skins and players. 2400 for Lancemaster skin = 1000 Blues or ~6k gold. If you were like me and were broke on gold from buying Blues at 380 then Lancemaster skin is ~4k gold in Blues.
The volatile nature of Gold / Blues value is why I would recommend holding RC. They’re the one currency which is static in value. A decent amount of gold right now is totally subjective. I’m sitting at 22k. I know others with more and some with less than 1k.
End-game gear currently runs 1-3k more or less. When Valtan releases those Relic pieces will likely go for 30-40k or 100-200k stones. This was the pricing of Argos first 2 weeks.
I will personally be selling my accessories first 2 weeks of Valtan instead of using them.
Royal crystals is what you buy with money right? 20$ is 19,999 royal crystals? how much is a skin in $$$
so royal crystals you buy with real money as you know, say you spend the 20$ usd to get the 1,975 or w/e amount it gives just do the math from royal crystal to blue crystal but that being said you can use gold to get blue crystal but the price fluctuates every day last week it was like 400 gold per 100 blue crystal and now its up to about 600 gold per 100 blue crystal. i dont remember all the prices but id assume about 20$ for the skin and weapon skin with maybe some left over not 100% sure rn… (Edit: you can also use royal crystals to buy gold, depending on what the market is depends on how much you get)
Better to buy blue crystals with gold then exchange that for things. Unless working full time and have the money to spend. Even with the amount i make and the time it takes id much rather transfer gold into blue crystals. If youre wanting to spend the money on the skins via royal crystals id recommend just buying the super ark pass but thats just me.
The Monkey skin is $24 if you buy it with RC.
Buying skins with RC Vs Blues Vs Gold is very much up to your own situation. If buying a skin will hinder your progression in-game then I’d personally buy with RC. Skins are in fact the only thing I will ever spend real money on as a F2P standard of my own.
For the most part Gold and Blues are interchangeable. Timing plays a critical point though.
A good example of the Blues & Gold economy is the 30-day Crystalline Aura. It’s sold for $10 or 420 Blues. If you converted RC to 420 Blues that would make it cost about $20. It’s very silly and why you don’t really want to mix your RC into the economy if you’re going budget.
Gold & Blue crystal systems are designed to prevent inflation by removing those resources.
Both RC and Blues are a limited resource requiring real money. Gold is simply limited per week.
As a comparison last I looked I think Korea was around 1.2k gold per 100 Blues.
I don’t expect Blues to drop to 380 per ever again unless the game just dies.
