I can’t disagree with that at all, between every legion raid ending in being jailed halfway through due to all the disconnects, the extreme mundane content lite daily routine and the overall bad faith and lack of communication presented via AGS (possibly due to SG, hard to ever know) it’s hard to feel like you are investing your time in a fun, growing game.
Even the die hards I think will fizzle out by Brel, especially as more static parties break up with people leaving and new games coming out that may pull more away.
The panic mode ad-hoc knee jerk reaction to the situation was unbelievable. Actions being taken before decisions being made. It’s clear AGS does not have a crisis management team that’s for sure lol.
Like if 1 person with the power to make a decision just said “shut the servers down for an hour and lets see if/how bad this might have been exploited, delete all pheon from any new character made from e-mail out to server down and then we can discuss how we want to handle the rest of it” We’d probably all be laughing about this 3 hours after it happened.
AGS is lost honestly. i had faith at the start till i’ve seen their vision and how they view this game. and how they treat their playerbase was the sugar on top. telling the players if you don’t like it then you can simply go play something else… i’m pretty sure you even was there during that as well and saw the insanely good comment towards people that didn’t like the terrible changes being done to lost ark. blackwashing and all of that crap and people are mad about it and then they get this message in return from AGS. you’re free to quit and play other games if you don’t like it isn’t that enough proof that they don’t care?
It’s not even crisis management. 10-240 pheons is not going to break them. Nor will it break the market. If anything it accelerates market movement, thereby helping with inflation through AH taxes. The fact that they could send the mass mail without downtime tells me they could’ve easily disabled new mails from going out without maintenance. Here’s what I think happened:
Mail went out. Full panic mode. OMG FREE PHEONS
Immediate downtime to remove free pheons.
2 hours passed, still couldn’t remove all the pheons.
5 hours passed, still couldn’t figure out how to remove pheons.
“Fuck it” just tell them we won’t take away the pheons.
Higher up: what do you mean free pheons?!?! Fix it!
Yea you are 100% right, like nobody wants to try and “invest” into this game because that’s what it is like i know people will say oh no its F2P but it really isn’t when u get down to the core of it and your grinding. it should have been a simple fix not the appearance of “OH SHIT” we lost money sending out pheons!!! EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN!!! LETS NOT FIX ANYTHING!!! PLAYERS CAN KEEP PHEONS!!! oh wait… SIIIIIKKKKKEEEEE ( this little sike literally put people into like -100$ like idk why everyone thinks lightly over it… why are we paying for mistakes from a company that can hardly keep the lights on!!!
The one item in the game that everybody hates, does nothing healthy for the game itself in any meaningful way, crushes the hopes of new players and annoys the wealthy.
If anything other than Pheon’s were in that box, they wouldn’t have looked at it twice lol.

exactly. they didn’t think it through and they still don’t. they continue to do bad decisions and not listen to what their playerbase wants but instead they do the opposite of what the playerbase wants. people were so hyped for the shadowhunter transformation the new one and nobody was questioning how it looks. in fact i had people willing to return to the game when we get it as well since they love shadowhunter and that form was actually so good that i didn’t even expect to get it so soon. and then the slap on the face with such an abomination piece of coal transformation that we still don’t even get a reply regarding that.
flashbacks from the original form where we got banned for talking about how ridiculous it was turned for no reason and nobody asked for it. threads getting deleted people getting banned oh and even better. this guide of theirs called Cyfy for example he has no clue about anything regarding this game considering he barely even plays it to understand anything. let me tell you that i got banned for even mentioning his name and calling him out on it for being clueless yet he has the guts to show up on camera and talk like he knows anything. lying to our face is their job i guess…
i just don’t understand. and i don’t think i’ll ever understand such a company that keeps trying to get rid of their playerbase rather than make them appreciate what they do to the game and show them that they care about them. instead they do the opposite and make people rage every time. now i’m not talking about CM’s or whatsoever but the higherups are the ones who make these decisions obviously. i wouldn’t blame who delivers raw food to me while they’re not the ones who cooked it in the first place. but man it sucks how they ask them to deliver such thing that’s not even ready to be delivered in the first place and they know it’s not ready but they tell them to go and deliver it anyways.
this sucks big time and i honestly was so happy about this update and then all of that happiness vanished due to all this crap that happened. they really don’t know what are they doing in the first place… it’s so sad to see such a good game being ruined like this and such a passionate playerbase being punished for loving the game.
Okay then why have you and every CM refused to respond or acknowledge the Shadowhunter changes that the majority SH players have clearly shown to not like, nor ask for? People have proposed so many brilliant ideas such as a DLC download to provide the original KR version yet every player is FORCED to play with the changed version that nobody requested for without any way. The feedback has been extremely clear yet you guys are completely ignoring it all.
Look at it this way, it’s an adventure just waiting to see what can possibly go wrong next
Someday when we’re old and gray playing D9 that is connected directly to our bank accounts and charges you an hourly rate just to have the game installed we’ll look back at these times and laugh at the foolishness of it all
that’s what it seems like honestly. let’s do every wrong decision and see what could happen after we do that wrong decision. and then act surprised that people are pissed but shrug it off anyways and do something worse

That’s what kept me playing NW as long as I did. I honestly was more excited to see how it could possibly break even worse, and i was never disappointed in the outcome. Log on “Oh we’re falling through the ground today and all the trophies in the game are duped” that’s new.
I honestly dont think SG gives a crap to be honest. I mean come on, SG released a report back in May gloating about 800k users which half were bots and we couldnt login because of em.
We are never mentioned about updates, we never HEARD from SG officially aside from Gold River on launch. That was the only time.
Heck, we never heard from ANYONE at AGS aside from Roxx per say. Shadowfox makes her sunday night appearances once in a while.
I wanted to play this game so much more but I cant support that kind of crap.
