Don’t care didn’t ask.
Exactly
If you just keep saying, “get over it” one day you will get to your breaking point and quit, and someone will say the exact same thing to you
Holding game makers accountable is the only way a game will ever get better
Like I said, AGS whiteknights for the sake of it.
It was a shit decision never should have been touched and whoever thought it was a good idea should not be able to speak again
No one wanted this NO ONE
and to say you to is to just kiss their feet and anything they do will never be wrong to you or people like you
So does grand tour, new world, crucible, and many others…
you really think we can trust ags as gaming company ? :’)
We all know what it is…
dude from business school are all good for one thing : using word and expression to make think they are cultivated…
really cultivated people use same words than their predecessor used 100 years ago.
Each time i see anyone trying to jusitfy with kind of shits, it is an obvious marker that he try to fuck me, it never miss… :’).
WHAT ? you consider players should be able to share opinion and be listened… how dare you ? :o …
ok… most successfull companies are doing it, but how dare you ? !
lol
Roxx said it herself: “Business Intelligence”, I sound like a broken record, but sadly, that’s their approach.
you forgot to mention skins and the events, those are big part of hooking players into the game.
Bad approach bad intelligence bad business
How i see situation :
First thing in game is “playing”
Class being the first thing , and the one you don’t have to fear to release too fast. (except if fast mean rush develoment for sure, clearly not subject here)
The variety will make newcomer more willing to stay (more chance to have a crush on a gameplay if there are 20 than if there are 2… )
Then contents : SWTOR began by a fail because it was empty of content… just because of this
But you have to not give too fast… it would be overwhelming, give a false feeling of stupid difficulty. You can totally “drip feed those” just have to find the good rythm to not have people bored.
There are minor content for player retention, and major for retention, hype, comeback, etc.
And then, all side things, skins, funny quests/events. For me those are clearly not what will make people stay or comeback, or even just come in the game. And it can be down to a “bare minimum” just enough skin to have people to feel way to customise their character as they want.
So no, i would not consider skins and event as “marketing” tools. (you can think it for sure, i explained why i didnt speak about it for the current topic, and will never ^^ )
If they would have just launched the game with all the classes instead of drip feeding, we would not be in this situation
It blows my mind that someone sat down and thought OMG YES, I GOT IT! they want more classes well let’s give them what they want “changes it to 1 class ever 2 months”
“PERFECTION”
And the laughable “hype marketing”.
Their prime excuse is that they are still releasing faster than KR. Smilegate have to design, make crucial decisions, develope and market Lost Ark; meanwhile AGS only have the easy part of the job here, but still have the audacity to claim the former.
Yeah, and all they have to do is translate the text and release the classes lol
They are just doing this to drag it out
Also, if I see them use the word cadence one more time i swear i am going to jump through a wall like the kool aid man
It’s crazy how they stated “accelerated releases” around the time they did 1 month per class for Glaivier and Destroyer, then circled back to the original 2-3 month and acted like nothing happened lol
fr
If they meant accelerated releases as in “still faster than KR” then they should’ve been more specific instead of getting the whole community thinking it was 1 per month this entire time lmfao
