Whilst I accept RNG is part of the game and on the surface is a better implementation than the likes of Black Desert is is strange the outcomes since I reached around the 500 mark Prior to this i might fail 1 in 4 attempts maybe 1 in 5 but I wasnt too phased by it However I failed 6 ot of 12 this week and tonight after failing a 15 level weapon twice in a row tonight Then I failed 2 armour before getting one success. I had spent 14 hours collecting everthing i could I have no more Islands to do or quiests to do on 3 characters Ok I understand statistics but on my observations over the last few days i am having an 80% failure rate.
My only real complaint is to farm the materials is now exceedingly difficult need another 1k weapom stones j ust for another attempt Please give us more ways to get the materials and i can live with it

You won’t get them to make it easier for you or change it in a way you can grind your mats.
Most of the content is time gated, actually almost all content. So pray for the gods of luck and just play the game… Progress in Lost Ark isn’t supposed to be rushed. And you actually dont miss out on anything if you are 2 days behind, or is everyone here competing for world first? I doubt it…
No this is not possible sorry, I know some people think it’s possible but it’s not, already failing twice 99% is almost impossible so 9 is definitely impossible in human perception. For example you would find 1 with that ratio in the complete humanity from it’s beginning, and if there is one, he’s alone ^^. It’s like win lottery 3 times in life, never happened (without cheating ofc, some Spanish politics appeared winning a lot xD), so 3 times in a row is totally impossible.
6 attempts is not a good spread of data to work off of.
If I did one attempt and failed I wouldn’t be like “SOUNDS LIKE ITS 0% SUCCESS, WTF IS WRONG”…
If I did one attempt and succeeded, I wouldn’t be like “Welp, guess its 100% straight up”
But yeah, I feel like there are more systems in place for paying out and RTP rather than a simple D100 roll that makes this system more complicated than it should be for specific gambling-related reasons.
A system I see often is taking the data across the server to determine whether rolls succeed or not, which creates serious variance across an individual basis but is spot on as an overall average success rate across the server.
The casino stones baffle me much more than honing. 75% chance on good skill FAIL… 25% chance on negative effect fill those bars up! all success all the time. Im starting to think the numbers are inverse at this point lol.
Even if the chances would be buggy, the people will still say RNG…
But the changes can be buggy. Happend in another mmorpg too.
A Box had a 10% Chance of getting a Rare Skin. Some people bought like 100 Boxes. didnt got a single one. the developers hotfixed it and send him compensation…
So yes RNG is RNG, but Percent is Percent. You can calculate the chance! And if the outlier aka the RNG seed is to far off. There is something wrong.
I failed at 90% 6/9 tries…
Afterwards i failed on 80% 10/13 tries, making a 6/22 tries successfull.
This did not stop me from getting to almost T3 now…
JUst play the game and bad RNG will happen to everyone!
No I agree with you, not the whales down below that buy their goods who could careless. Last night 3 times in a row 82 or so %, what ever 1 star adds to the percentage , so 82/100% 3 failed attempts at T2. This is in a row, and I’m not sure how the system is to help add more % each failed attempt, but percentage is also percentage. I can see the first being failed but not 2 or 3. The system simply wants you to whale the items in the store that is hard to grind to make back. That need to gut this system anyways since Korea has had it 4 years now. Jmo
