Honing thoughts?

They changed 1355 content to 1370, get swiping! Or somehow find the motivation to do the same dailies until you can in a month.

I see alot of people saying the issue is the honing rates but i honestly believe the biggest problem is the lack of resource generation content not the honing rates. Yes honing update would be nice for that “feel good” effect but for longevity of current players and players coming up to t3 the best path would be adding the missing resource generating content. not only does this give more resources to players but gives more things for players to do and enjoy.

The best solution that they could do is make all honing material that’s currently not tradeable, roster bound at least. Not everyone either has the time to repeat the same stuff on alts and no one should be penalized for it in a way.

  1. Heroic Guardian Raids were removed, so there’s no materials that can be received from them.

  2. Abyss Trials were also removed, so there’s no materials to be earned.

  3. Hard mode Oreha’s Well dungeon had its item level requirement raised to 1370, so people also can’t earn materials there when they reach 1355 item level.

  4. The PvP vendor is not enabled, so it’s impossible to buy materials from him.

  5. Digging for relics so you can craft maps and get map-honing items is consuming nearly three times more Life Energy than it should, so players can only get a third of the materials they should be getting from this activity.

It’s no coincidence that all this content that has been removed or changed. This was done with the sole intention of making the process of reaching 1370 much harder than it should, so whales feel encouraged to spend money on the game, and you. Amazon and Smilegate know about it, so stop pretending that you need to gather feedback and either admit that Amazon’s official stance is to balance the game around whales, or give us back the content that was taken away from us.

The game was dying with said content in Korea, we need the rates as well, I don’t know why you people can’t understand this. It will still take months of grinding the same content to get to Valtan without the rates, even if we get the extra materials it will just be an extra set of guardian raids and abyss dungeons per week, and Argos.

Thats literally already in the game. Its called Artisan Energy. You players are really too incredibly fixated on honing chance. There is literally no difference between the system now and what you asked for except for the fact you dont have a bonus chance to upgrade faster now.

All they need to do is provide us most materials. Buff T1-T2 because content is a failed version of the game anyways. Nothing else until Valtan hits. Then buff T3 honing to 1370 when Valtan hits.

T3 honing wasnt buffed until Valtan hit, everything else I can agree with.

No, Im trying to make you understand there is already a static way of upgrading. The main problem is the lack of same materials you should be getting in T3 compared to other regions pre-valtan.

The game is designed around having alts though. I get what youre saying, but thats never going to happen man.

That fact that no one knows that information Should say everything it needs to about this scenario. This is a casino with a walled garden and no management to talk to.

Huh? Im saying that what the person suggested is already in the game… I didnt counter suggest anything. Im saying upgrading isnt just a perpetual RNG chance and artisan energy 100% is the static way of upgrading gear.

Honing chance is not the end all be all way of upgrading your gear and players are too heavily focused on the % chance (especially when it becomes way worse the further end game you get)

My only argument is the lack of materials we can acquire weekly to make it not feel as tedious to 100% artisan a piece of gear if we do not succeed in the bonus honing chance.

It is very chaotic I agree… nothing to say positive there.

I do know a few cm’s are trying? There seems to be a shift in roles going on, and I wouldn’t imagine they would tell us that.

But we have eyes.

For now, the most active CM seems to be Shadow_Fox and that is really it… Roxx hasn’t been seen in awhile. Beyond those 2 CM’s we have zero contact with amazon and development.

I mean well never have updates from development. Its always going to be funneled through AGS to announce things. That being said the 2 CMs seem to be more active this weekend and are collecting information. Im sure they are also overworked and tired trying to fix a plethora of major glaring problems the game has right now.

I will still remain hopeful and see what the next month or two holds.
