The problem isnโt honing. The problem is the level of RNG used in every thing in this game.

I agree. I wish people would try to put themselves in these peoples shoes. Trying to please lver 600k players all at once is a very difficult task. We need to realize these people are human too who need to eat, sleep, spend time with their families, etc. They are obvioiusly trying to make an honest effort here and I appreciate the baby steps to larger strides approach.
And they probably have some plans in motion for sure and it might not even be them were waiting on at this point, but the development team of Smilegate.
People just need to realize that listening to player feedback and rolling updates isnt an immediate process in the game development world.
People really need to just stop being so hateful and negative all the time and continue to be constructive and insightful to things that can improve the player experience (within reasonable means that doesnt completely change the foundation of the way the game is played.)

Thats literally T3 in a nutshell. Its no different an any region until Valtan which you do get a honing buff to 1370, but after that youll face 10%, 5%, even 1% bonus honing chance numbers. Youll even grind a week of materials to only have 3-5 chances at the end of the week to upgrade.
The problem is the lack of source of materials we are missing out on, and just buffing T1-T2 honing because its not even a part of the game that made the game successful.
I love the game, gameplay and everything about it. But i frankly hate the honingsystem and it is way to slow, make materials roster bound from all content in the game, then atleast i can funnel materials from my alts. And also buff the honung rates alot or make them require x material for a guaranteed upgrade. The rng from honing is absurd in tier 3 and its not remotely funny at all.

You missed my point. The RNG being used is what casinos use to take money from addicts.
If you canโt see it permeate every hone, every quest, every thing you do in this game, youโve missed out on why this is a cash cow for AGS and why they wanted to publish it the way they did - not like other regions.
The RNG is literally the same as KR until certain content hits in our region. That being said, T1-T2 should have been buffed sooner for sure. T3 isnt going to get buffed until later in a month or so. The RNG doesnt magically get better after hitting 1370. Its literally a foundational part of the game. RNG equip tripods, RNG skill runes, RNG collectible drops, RNG stronghold merchants, etc. There is a lot of RNG in the game, yes. But that isnt any different in other regions now.
Actually the game was like this before at one point. They seem to just be taking the same direction before they decide to roll out buffs. Im not saying this is a smart approach, but this is a F2P game and it does fit their overall business model approach. Even Smilegate used this approach years ago. Same situation.
My opinion is that there is no reason to get gated in t1 and t2 by honing rates, itโs just been discouraging to me.
I am nor a whale or a f2p player, Iโve spent money on the game but as it is at the moment I have stopped because I am not sure if I am going to keep on playing if iโm gated by this much RNG before I even hit end game content.
We get the buff until 1415, not 1370, the buff to 1415 is if even bigger than the 1370 changes.
Thats how you currently are given the content you have in that region. Its not translated the same as our region given the limited content we have.
Why would it not be the same, even Koreans got the honing changes to 1415 with Valtan, our accelerated release obviously needs it as well or the game is dead. People complain about 1340 to 1370 but 1370 to 1415 is 4x the amount of materials.
I am a player that have played in RU and knows the story of the dark time in RU and KR server. The biggest problem that the Argos patch poses is not the timing of it, but the lack of contents on the way getting there. This section of gearing (1340-1370) has always been terrible for any Lost Ark players from KR vets to RU vets, and nothing changed that, until the honing relief patch got released. The gearing route gets a lot better after that, and by a lot, I actually mean a lot.
There has to be a realization that, the beginning of tier 3, is actually a lot worse than the end of tier 2. There are less dungeons to run (2 abyssal dungeons versus 5 abyssal dungeons of tier 2 in total,). Yet the upgrade rate is much much more terrible, meaning now players will get stuck at the boring part for much longer. It doesnโt matter whether Argos got released or not, the gearing section is terrible and it will remain terrible whether Argos got released in 1 month or 1 year if there is no changes to it.
This is not about the 1340 players fear of missing out, it should be about realizing that this section of the game is terribly designed. Even with the release of heroic mode for guardian raids and abyssal dungeons, it does not change the fact that there are way too much ilvl gap between 1340-1370, with no content in between.
And yet, before any of this issue was addressed, Amazon went ahead and released contents on the other side of the wall. This only increases the differences in experiences between players, people who have either, paid, or 18 hours no lifed the game, will be able to get through the 1340-1370 section before they get sick of doing the same boring content for a month everyday, and enjoy the good contents on the other side of the wall that they have climbed by swiping their credit cards. Other people who donโt swipe, will get stuck at the same place doing the same boring Igrexion that gives 8 stones everyday when you need almost a thousand to get to 1370.
Iโm being very serious when I say that this section of gearing is terrible, because I firmly believe that if nothing is done, when the casual players get to this section of the game, they will straight up quit. Nobody who just wants to enjoy gaming enjoys farming the boring contents for 1 month before they even get to the next part. You canโt force a person to play the game that they have to farm 2 Igrexion, everyday, for 30 days, before you can move on to the next part. That is just straight up not enjoyable and not a good gaming experience.
Release the honing relief changes as soon as possible, otherwise, a few weeks from now, when the mass of casual players get to 1340 (if they can even endure the 1040-1100 wall in tier 2), you will never them again in your game.
Itโs not the Valtan raid that increase the retention rate of the game, itโs the fact that players can enjoy Valtan raid increase the retention rate of the game. At this rate, you will lose players much much faster than any hype the Legion raid can create.
Just make it the same as KR, itโs fine.

Someone or multiple people are responsible for these choices. This is purposeful deceit and manipulation for financial gains. And before someone says โthatโs just businessโ take you predatory sympathizing comment and shove it.
All I would advise is not to let them off easy. AGS has a proven track record of being given an inch and taking a mile. If you want this version of the game to be the same as Koreas, you guys are gonna have to stick to your guns here.
T1 and T2 are good. But T3 chances need to be increased OR make more options to gather T3 mats. You cant have these low honing chances with only a few ways to get T3 material.
