Hot hair (Roadmap)

I am going to e blunt, but after reading the wall of text, I am not any wiser of what AGS is going to do with the game in the short term.
I know things will eventually be released, it’s the when that is not entirely clear in the statement.

Let me point out that LA problems are self inflicted:

  1. T3 should have never be released at launch.
  2. Argos should have never be released so soon.

Those two mistakes caused all the complaint from players because they cannot understand why T1 and T2 difficulty is set as end game, while the actual end game is T3.

Technically in the West we have 3 endgames, while the other regions had only 1 endgame at any given time which were phased out once the new one came out.
Is it too difficult to understand that T1 and T2 needs to be way faster than T3 to conquer?

People who are in T3 at the moment are (mostly):

  1. People who played KR and RU and know the game inside out
  2. People who spends lot of money (whales)
  3. People who play 14 hours a day and make heavy use of Alts

The rest of us are stuck in T1 T2 with a big carrot dangling in front of our face (T3) but no hope to reaching it in a reasonable amount of time without reaching for our credit card.

I get it, this is the point of the game, but don’t make it so obvious that the average Joe with a bit of common sense will be put off the game altogether.

You released T3 and Argos because you knew the whales would pay to skip T1 and T2, and you were right of course.
Now that they are all T3, can we, the humble peasants, get all the catch up mechanics they have in other versions?

In other MMORPGS every time they release new endgame there is a catchup mechanics.
If you wait until May to implement it, it might be way too late, and no, Grand Prix and Guardian Raids are not the solution.

If you want LA to be a niche game then you are going the right direction. Otherwise change direction, and fast.
We want T3 to be hard and challenging, not T1 and T2.

There are a good amount of f2p players in t3, if you havent hit t3 yet you arent doing your islands or something, if the game released only up to t2 there would be a “lack of content” issue instead of a “i cant do content” issue

We want T3 to be hard and challenging, not T1 and T2.
Who’s this we? it’s certainly not me, a lot of f2p players have reached tier 3 already, sure it’s quite the time investment but it’s not insurmountable like you claim, and the extra materials will make it even better, I too think they need to do more but if you’ve been steadily grinding and aren’t at least at the tail end of T2 you aren’t using your time effectively.

I don’t have data on hands but I have the feeling that most people are stuck and quit at T1 T2.
It’s better having the minority complaining there is lack of end game content than having the majority complaining mid-game is too hard, in my opinion.

As an extremely casual player who entered T1 by finishing Vern about 3 weeks ago (21st of February), I’m 2 upgrades away from entering T3, one of which is guaranteed. I would’ve been in T3 if I didn’t spend a week or two constantly missing my Guardian Raids to the point where I didn’t realize they were only one soul normally until I was well into T2, or if I actually bothered to raise an alt to get extra dailies.

If you actually do your dailies and islands it’s not hard to get to T3, even more so if you even have just one alt.

Probably the thousands of people who already quit? Maybe not all of them but a good number of them.

It’s an mmo launch usually they’re lucky to retain 50% of the playerbase after the first month, it was mishandled in a lot of ways and I’m glad they’re making changes now but everyone knew people who didnt really want another grindy korean mmo would quit, and people would quote steam charts ad nauseum, a good number of people will check back later, I don’t believe a drop off post launch hype is indicative of all that.

They want reach to T3, to say again “nerf Armored Nacrasena”, “nerf Igrexion” because is too hard, i dont want spend a panacea and HP potions and die, “i want one shot boss”, “nerf oreha abyss”, “give me more mats”, “nerf Argos”, give me more “free skins”, "when is the new class?, 15 class and only wait for the new one on KR, " “15% of honing is too low, catch up mechanics for T3, i want reach 1370 now, give me it” i will see all of them in the forum, because if they dont give all for free o too easy, is wrong…

if your idea of hard is to farm infinite chaos all day for 10+hrs, then please don’t speak for me. I want the missing content to bridge the gap for everyone.

Im f2p besides founders packs and i have a 1333, 1325, and an alt at 1070 about to enter t3 so …

I don’t want T3 easily accessible to the point that I get stopped on the vertical content due to the content hasn’t been released.

You get 1370 and have done Argos, now what? You will keep doing exactly the same as you are currently doing; dailies and attempting to upgrade. The only difference is that now you don’t have a dangling carrot since you don’t know what and when the next T3 content for vertical progress comes. And what do you think the players will do then? I bet a lot will get bored and move to another game.

Or what difference does it make that you’re stuck at 1340 instead of 1080? Both are still not enough for Argos or the raids coming afterwards. You will always be stuck at some point for something for a certain amount of time…
