This is because they gave free T3 power pass along with 1445 express event for Artist so a lot of people made it because its a new class. The question is how many of those players mains her and how many of those players didn’t switch previously from being support.
What we would receive is tops T3 Power Pass and even this AGS is scared to give because of huge botting problem.
plans can change xD a release in Russia of the artist that could bring out lot of player from eu/na server it’s a good reason an example, or a big “support lack” issue could be another reason. As i said in other post i think they are planning a worldwide release for the artist
Will it entirely fix the problem? Probably not.
Will it help with the support shortage? Definitely yes 100% no doubt.
Here is a guy that didn’t read and doesn’t want the game to get better, only that his class launches, he doesn’t main artist and he doesn’t want her to come so he can play, he as other rational people, want her to come first because of the INSANE amount of support shortage, bringing to the game the annoying shit of support selling themselves, what being even worst people who will play right at the start then start trolling so they give up and so he can sell himself to another party right after

This is not a hot take, this is what about half the community who actually talks about class releases thinks. Supports are good to have.

This post was mad 20 days ago, far after we knew russia would get artist in june.
and the most recent i forgot where is a post made last week (monday tuesday or wednsday) where she adjust about the 4 other class order (not only "older first then less older, then finally artist) but confirmed that artist would be after.
Thing can change while last week roxx was in korea with few other from AGS team to prepare the roadmap (and maybe more) but… the hope to see a change is really small…

Artist isn’t as strong at support as bard or paladin. It won’t solve the problem with the lack of supports. Believe me I would really like to see artist getting released but not for the reason of having more supports since it won’t work out like that.
the korea trip seems something big…that’s why i think in a change of plans, maybe AGS want old classes first but SGM may has a different idea. The hype about the artist is huge.
It’s also the June class for both RU and JP, so maybe you’re right. I kind of hope they talked about the queues/bots though.
Not gonna happen. Artist model rendering not even released. Specialist patch is not in. They need time to translate and remodel skins too.

This is a planning. But we all know plans can change. This has been stated before all the complaining about the serious lack of supports.
Right now lack of supports is one of the main problems the game has ngl. And it will only get worse if we don’t do something about it.
So it seems pretty obvious that releasing Artist can actually become a priority, since it might not solve the problem completely, but the class has a lot of hype and people will play her.
Also she could have a “global release” if they do it in this summer, so it’s not exactly a bad timing for problem solving.
this means absolutely nothing, the fact that isn’t inside the game doesn’t means that they don’t have it xD but we will see, mine re just marketing assumptions
