if they are going to play the game slowly they will catch up slowly
you get what you play for
people server hopping are grinding really quickly up

False. You couldnt gear yourself to T3 without Mari shop at the start. Those who rushed bought everything from the Mari shop.
Did you read the rest of the sentence? I swear to god.
How can new players keep up ?
They dont, they exit the game after 2days
Did you? He wrote it was a few day for some player to reach T3 (few day mean 3-4 day in my opinion) and he said he did need + a couple day to reach T3. Few day + couple day means around a week.
You COULDNT reach T3 without spending money in Mari shop in 1 week.
If he cant give an exact number then the only thing I can do is assume what he did mean when he said âa fewâ.
False. I invested a lot of time in the beginning, doing all the horizontal stuff and also grinding chaos dungeons for some extra hones. +with the Road to T3 Island guide.
Being early in T2 and selling the materials for just two days and then buying it on the third day for half the price, you did not need Mariâs help. Itâs called taking advantage of the whales who exchanged 238 Royal Crystals for 100 gold to buy tons of honing mats, these crashed in price heavily as soon as more people reached t2.
But yeah I should have grinded a bit more I guess, then I would have been more reluctant to switch over to EUW.
Edit: My friend (who quit long ago) who did not use the auction house reached 1060 before switching with me to EUW. So it would have taken him 2 weeks without market, without shop.
But now with the honing buffs, it should be considerably faster
10 days actually, from Founders pack 8. Feb until EUW opened, 17. Feb
But I remember seeing T3 people while I was still 1000-1040 on adventure islands
The whales were limited by the supply in the market, nowadays as a spender you can reach t3 in a day (if you decide to hone instead of punika pass)
yeah def not worth right now ⌠at least f2p but not sure how these early mokoko boost etc provide peons ⌠i mean 200-300 free for a new roster should be possible⌠to at least have sth for one character
Dude new player here havd 4 char at 1370 my main is now shadowhunter. I wasted phenos but now i save up when i can.
Mu shadow os nearly 4x3 dont grind to level i play all 4 char sell all mats i get to make good gold a day. And then waited for more pheons to male build.
Id rather take my time getting my build ready than power level my way up. As good build from 1370 will do me till atleast 1415.
Content always gonna be there but geting good gold a day and weekly will help when i start to level up character.
just say u all want free stuff, stop using new players as an excuse
Bro some people were T1 after a week that doesnât mean others werenât T1 in under 24 hours of server opening. Story took about 10 hours and you were T1. Itâs not farfetched to think some people got to T3 within 10 days. Just chill out. Donât take it personally.
Pretty much this.
pheons are no problem for new players when u log in u instantly get 132 free ones thats already enought to buy complete relic accescori set - the time to 1415 should be enought to get more free pheons from events for a stone
Youâre exaggerating, even in Russia, a beginner player will be 1475 to 1490 for at least 6 months and set up 5x3, but the first weeks will be difficult for them since they havenât played with us since the launch.
So, you want new players to get everything instantly and catch up to us that played for half a year? What would happen to all the hard work we poured into the game?
I never heard of mmo that boosts brand new players to levels of people who played the game for months or years. This is not fortnite or whatever, youâre supposed to grind the fk out of this game.
Just before Argos release, those purple honing books that you get stacks of for free, that help you get to 1370, used to cost 10k for weapon and 5k for armor when Argos was our endgame. Should we protest the fact that you get those for free when we had to pay absurd amounts of money for them? No, you also canât complain that I earned something over the spawn of 6 months just because you want it and want it now lol. Start grinding son
Technically the two biggest mmos do this right now. WoW and FF14 which is why there is an expectation that new players get to âcatchupâ even if that doesnât work for korean mmos.
Whenever a new raid drops in WoW you basically get gear that takes you to the prior tiers raid level by doing whatever new zone they introduce with the raid. Takes like 2 days to be raid ready. FF14 has a similar system but not as aggressive.
itâs all part of an MMO players arenât supposed to have instant gratification, they are supposed to play the game for a LONG TIME and earn things slowly thatâs the whole point of it!
You can literally hit endgame day 1. Someone who doesnât want to grind can swipe thousands of dollars. So itâs just about the amount.
For me If you are willing to spend 100 dollars on a game you deserve to be put in the endgame.
Money is a far more valuable resource than time.
People lack the brain power to separate the difference between keeping up and hitting the ceiling, as exemplified above me.
Spare yourself the sub iq takes and donât scroll up.
I bought a power pass on EUC and got a tier 3 character, upon logging into that character you will right now for a limited time get a free punika power pass and 2 vern passes. You now have 2 tier 3 characters and 2 t1 characters, apply the express event to one of the t3s and bam, with a little effort you will easily hit 1400 far far far faster than I did when I started the game.
I agree with points that the games different with gatekeeping etc, but even with the headaches starting off, new players will have a far easier time reaching argos p3 than people who have played from the start.
This game rewards you for time spent, play the game more than me and you as a new player will slowly but surely catch up to me. Donât expect to catchup to people who donât leave their chair and the game.
