Demonic main here. Are you going DI or Perfect Supression? 3/3/3/3 would be good for Vykas, so def aim for that. Right now you only need 3/3/3 for current content.
I would guess 4x3 for DPS, some elite groups might want 5x3
3x3 for support (or just run around in underpants, you might still get invited just by them seeing your class icon)

How many
There’s an average character power level required as a minimum for stuff.
Your item level, engravings, combat stats, card sets, skill levels, gems and more all contribute to this power level.
Engravings alone are only one part of it.
Look. Vykas normal is tuned for 2 relic pieces and full relic accesories. It is harder than Valtan hard even if she is at 1430 gs. You need 3333 and the above
Vykas hard is 33331 and full relic, Clown normal will be 33332 and hard 33333.
You need 3333 weapon +20 for valtan according to EU mentality so ne rdy for vykas you neeed prob +20 and 5 engravings to bei accepted

Given you need 1445 to equip relic items, and that Vykas gatekeeps relic sets, I very much doubt Vykas normal, at 1430, is made to need relic gear… sounds like bs.

Clown doesnt even have hard version what are you talking about? It only has Rehearsal (which only need ilvl 1385), Normal (1475) and Hell Mode.

Since normal Valtan gives you relic mats Vykas is designed to be played by partial relic/argos/beast at 1445 or full beast set (which is an excelent set) at 1430. You are right I should have made the distinction. Full beast (or even 4 pieces) is stronger than 2 piece relic anyway and 6 piece just destroys any 2 piece relic set with its 40% damage increase.
2 piece beast only is not enough obv. Vykas normal is harder than Valtan hard (by a large margin also)
You need 33333 and +25 weapons as DPS to be accepted into Vykas HM. If you’re support, you can be a doge and still get in.
Just 3x3 is enough if you have a static or guild or make your own party.
If you want to find a party then go 4x3
Korean streamers I watch (zeals, etc) all say 3333 just fine all the way up to breshalza (spelling?)
Granted they don’t represent entire kor or rus communities, and certainly other knowledgeable players other than them - but so far their advice has been spot on.
I’ll trust advice from reputable vets with years of exp over what seems over inflated new to content jitters demanding 33333 or better.
Clown cant be cleared without 33333 on ilevel. You just cant meet the dps check. But ye It is fine if you overlevel the raids.
In the meantime I have to mention that you 100% not 1445+ because the amount of gatekeeping that is already happening in pugs is insane. People are already asking for 3333 +20 weapon+lostwing + level 7 gems.

I’m actually curious about the relation of difficulty - I’ve heard this before, but I’ve already heard so much bullshit about the game, that I believe nothing until I see it myself.
I mean, everyone was talking about how we will need grudge because Valtan has a dps check… turned out that the dps check was an absolute joke that a full party clears in one third of the aloted time and even 3 - 4 players can clear it without even having optimal gear or class composition.

There needs to be a LOT more emphasis on stats. Stats is literally the first thing people should focus on, especially so if they are a spec class.
You mean for Vykas normal? The problem with Vykas in general is that the mechanics require a lot more teamwork, meaning if 1-2 people screw up the raid is wiped. this happens at multiple occasions in Vykas. At Valtan 2or 3 people can be bad and just live lets say until ghost phase and after they die all is good. Also one good player can pretty much carry Valtan with the counters.
At Vykas the dps uptime is much tighter than Valtan. She jumps too much. You need to stop dps at several points, her normal moves are AOE clusterfucks, you need to get hit on purpose at some points to control the gauge, you need 5 people to survive the seduction phase with the typing etc etc.
It is mechanically harder
As for Valtan dps check: This is always on ilevel and specific engravings. If half your team is 1420+ with 3332 at normal there’s obviously no dps check. Same on hard. If you have 4 1455s on 3333 it’s obviously not a dps race. How many groups were at 1445 on all 8 players/ Mine wasnt:P
