Thank you! I can’t believe there is nothing in this entire Forum that was more blatantly obvious that that.
Although if I really think about it… This award isn’t that obvious. Was I competing against the whole forum or just this thread? Is a gold star the best or does someone else get 2 gold stars or a comet?
The cost of crafting in itself is a gold and time sync. I don’t know the actual cost per fusion material it comes out to if you farm all the gatherables yourself but you do have to pay a gold cost plus wait for the craft to complete.
Not that this process isn’t already being exploited but that it is already almost at the rock-bottom price (because of crafting costs and taxes).
I don’t think this is high on their priority list. The big money is in honing materials since this whole game’s monetization revolves around the ever-increasing Item Level.
Really thankful for this change!!! If anyone complains thay should be botting… No one should be making infinite chaos dungeon for mats, let’s be honest…
As someone who was doing a decent amount of infinite chaos back before the prices dropped massively, it wasn’t even worth it. It was maybe 5k gold per week which is nothing at 1415+.
Sure the mats prices will increase, but now the unbound leapstones you sell from guardian raids give you more value. Meaning you can “trade” them for even more Mari’s store leapstones and +1 una tasks.
I think solar mats will have the highest price spike because unbound are obtainable only from secret maps now?
the in game gold prices aren’t horrendous, they are set by the players, and its actually an extremely good deal in terms of time to produce versus cost.
what might actually be horrendous is how limited, and how much investment the game asks in order for you to have a mid level fun experience.
It does cost time and gold which is why players who hone more often than not will not prepare those materials.
Let’s take simple oreha fusion for example. It cost 2,000 to craft 300 simple oreha stone. Currently the bots are locking this price at 9g, which is 2,700 gold. And 300 simple oreha is around 30 honing attempts for roughly 5 hours of crafting passively.
No players will pay 2,000 gold for a craft because you can’t generate 2,000 gold without alts, but they will spend 9g or 90g for 10 oreha fusion instead. Effectively without realizing it, bots have already participate in our every honing attempts without counting other sources like leap-stones.
The gold/crystal will jump in prices in respond. It is not going to go down because bots will still generating gold like they did in tier 2. Plus nothing really changed as they can still do 2x regular chaos dungeon a day x 100,000 times compared to player 2x a day.
They should GREATLY reduce the costs of these mats to make it viable for normal players to at least come close to buying out the shop with moderate grinding and time spent. I think the ramping up prices should be removed now that it’s character bound. Removing these mats from the market will increase the price and make it harder to gather mats so we need more ways to get them somehow.
Thank you for realizing the problem where most people aren’t really thinking about.
All you will see is that people will believe this change is good or it is a win, yet the other aspect however non-nonsensical it is, still being ignored by people.
You hit it right on the head that materials should have a constant buy tag that way it even the field between botter and real grinding players.
well i suppose since the minority of legit players could use it.They self farmed most mats … sold if there was not enought gathered for gold and honed if they had sth.
So it was nothing good for them anyway … they were stuck to always had not enought materials while the one half buyed with rmt and the other half just cheated infinity dungeon.
Maybe this will be economical bad … Still let this script runners profit is jsut no option …
I’d say it’s around 2 to 5 extra leapstones per day depending on the RNG.
I always sell my guardian leapstones and buy from mari’s alongside +1 una task.
Exchange rate is 10 crystals per leapstone, so the “profit” should stay the same because crystal prices and AH leapstones always inflate at the same rate.
Imo, way bigger issue are the stone prices which are the biggest indicator of RMTing. They’re at 8/14g now on EUC and it just keeps rising. Pushing an alt from 1340 to 1370 took me 35k gold a few days ago. Bound leapstones, books, research, so that’s just the stone, fusion mats and honing price. It’s just ridiculous. And imo, it’s the reason why right now this game is pretty much impossible for new players. How’s someone gonna generate enough mats to get to 1370 with current prices when everything except those mats and good relic accessories is worthless?
well its probably time to realease either extremly nice events or a honing buff for the first set … like express honing u can probably selfsustain it that way pretty easy
But before they can do that they need to clean up massivly we don have any new players anyway
And why the hell this game has still soo positive reviews at steam oO
I am not sure how it will turn out, but for sure for grinder they just lost at least 1 valtan hard gold per week.
I can’t speak about others, but it does make things a bit longer/harder and I can’t lie that it felt suck to end up losing something for those bots to win again. I will stick around to see how the Vykas patch is going to do first, then I will see.
to be honest, the games geometric grind scale is a bad system for NA players. Also, too much gameplay is tied to the grind/gates.
They are asking too much commitment for the game to be accessible in a fun way. Honing 1340+ is a rough experience for most players, and thats where a lot of the content is. You don’t really get a functional build until 1370, and they essentially require reinvestment at 1415.
things like the harmony scaled missions are a good step, but they are only for certain types of content.
Anyhow back to the point, reducing players methods of getting gold, when gold is a currency the progression is heavily designed around, will not have a great effect on the game progression imo.

Idk, too much grinding is certainly a thing in this game, but a huge number of players is just doing it the wrong way. I’m gonna hit 1460 today and I’ve got only three alts. All 3 were 1340 up until last weekend when I pushed one to 1370.
Yesterday I was busy all day, logged in at 10pm and I was done by 12.30. Did everything on all 4 characters, including 6k life energy used. People are just inefficent.
You can include most of EU in that group , people on the Western version just have a whole other mentality and approach to the game compared to other regions.
Optimist … I like you
May the RNGods smile upon you mate
