Why is it always „my friend“. Every topic like that it’s always a „friend“ and then the OP swear that the „friend“ didn’t rmt.
I mean don’t know I would never swear that my brother wouldn’t do something not allowed. So why should I do it for a „friend“?
Or do you have his Credit Card payment receipts/his paypal purchase history, or anything else? If not you really can’t swear.

Fairly common issue right now. Telling you that your friend is probably guilty is pointless so I will respond with the assumption that he isn’t guilty as that is more productive here.
Did your friend make any large sales on the AH recently? Any potentially suspicious transactions in general? Did you or someone else send him gold so that he could buy something?
Also for cases like this it is a good idea to provide some financial evidence as well. Bank statements/steam purchase history ect. To show where any current/past gold might have come from and so that they know you did not buy anything from a third party site. The more info you can provide the better.
AGS wont do anything about it. All they will do is send you automated email responses. No matter how much evidence you provide, Steam purchases, hours played etc… I sent 3 separate appeals but got the same automated email responses. No one in their right mind would take screenshots of everything you do in game. Even streamers were hit with false bans with no chance to appeal.
I was in the same position as OP’s friend at the beginning of September and was banned for 1 month. They said I RMT’ed 100k gold when I never had. I made a few 60k-80k sales on the AH before I was banned. Never did my gold count ever reach past 100k gold. I was unbanned earlier this month but I wont be returning to the game.

Legit players with false bans will stop playing the game completely because they poured their actual time effort and money (through legitimate means) into the game. It isnt worth it for them to get banned again for no apparent reason. It is evident that AGS just sends out automated moderation emails without any appeal process whatsoever, so playing again after being unbanned is kind of waste of time/effort/money. Legit players would just simply quit after being falsely banned.
Rule Breakers (ie. RMT’ers, bots, etc…) will still continue to play the game even if they are permabanned. They will simply just create a new account and do it again because they dont care for the rules to begin with.
So eventually, even if its a 1% false positive rate and without a proper appeal process. The number of legitimate players leaving the game will keep on rising while the “rule breakers” will keep playing the game.
So without proper appeal process or better human/non-automated moderation by AGS, the game’s future looks bleak.

All you can do is request your amazon data. Buried in that you will find your game data. Buried in that you will find the reason you had disciplinary action taken against you and the duration.
Dont get your hopes up too high. I was banned “permenately” for “cheating” got my game data and it showed it was for a month. I finally got my game data the day before the ban was to be lifted. The game data states I was disciplined because I was reported in Feb for being a “obvious bot and gold seller”. The person who reported me is the only player I have ever banned in the entire time I have played the game because they were being toxic in a dungeon.
I told them my ban is up but this is stupid that someone can just accuse you of gold selling and you get banned for a month.
I got a reply back saying “we take cheating very seriously and show you purchased 95000g” if you feel this is a mistake you may appeal.
So they ignored the reason stated in my game data, pulled an arbitrary number out of their butt and told me i could appeal that even though my ban was already lifted.
Its a crap shoot and a cluster f***.
+1 friend here too, 15 days later still not resolved

Unfortunately the forum staff does not have any ability to look into player accounts or assist with ban appeals, so trying to get penalties removed through the forums will not be effective.
Usually when it comes to these cases the player has RMT’d for so insignificant amount that they think that they won’t get any repercussions from it. But hey if this is not the case then appealing the penalty will do the job
See you say this, but in reality it seems the ban appeals team is detached from the support team and don’t do a very good job.

It’s just that when an appeal was raised, all the information he got was " RMTed for 56500 gold", “not enough evidence was provided to change the ban decision” and that “the support team will no longer look at any of the appeals raised by him.”
If the communication is a one way direction, as you can see, if you ban an account, you can no longer go into the account to gather evidence that you didn’t RMT other than showing your entire bank statement or something?
I’m not trying to get penalties removed through forums, just trying to gather some information on how to handle if you are placed in a situation like this.

LA has the most ferocious player hunting system Ive seen, sadly same cant be said about the bots.
See you say this, but in reality that’s all there is to it. It’s not like there is anything you could possibly do in that situation. It’s like having a cube and there’s only one cube sized hole in front of you that you have to put the cube in. If they’re detached and do their job then you have to go through another appeal process into another appeal process into another appeal process. Nothing else does anything for you
Also players calling ticket appeals detached has been a thing since… 2006 and it’s something players default to always, especially since those who have been rightfully banned don’t come out with it ever, denying anything until the end. I’ve had multiple run-ins with these ticket appeal systems and for myself and everyone I know it has been 100% accurate each time. Granted that this does not apply to LA or anything around it as I’ve been a good boi since the devs have been good bois
yea, at least we can request our data and in hindsight see that its not 100% accurate huh? But it doesnt do any good for players who just want to enjoy the game together 
Pretty sure my friend has already moved on from this game, 2 weeks is usually enough of a detox. just following up on the topic since AGS seems to have some form of problem here, although I do appreciate them banning actual cheaters I really hope they actually investigate reports rather than ban first and investigate on appeal. Impossible to know thou due to the zero insight policy

You can’t tell anything to it and probably got told to not talk about it and also use your copy paste text like the Appeal Team does. It can’t tell how bad an answer of the appeal team is which basicly provides no information other than : no
The appeal team does reject real evidence and appeals which took hours of information gathering after some minutes with an answer copy pasted from a catalogue. The fact that it’s a human who does the copy paste doesn’t makes it better and makes people feel so bad that they just quit the game because it’s impossible sometimes to prove you not guilty under that terms. When will anyone at ags open their eyes so this awful appeal system gets reviewed ?
The appeal team is completely useless.
My friend is still banned and has been for almost 2 months now and the response is to buy amazon prime
tbh putting your account history on forum is intresting idea
even more when there are services you can use to do one time payment and it wont be shown on your normal account anyhow so im not sure what would that prove in the end 
Think you misread that. I was talking about sharing that info inside of an appeal, not on the forums. I am only suggesting what has worked for people in the past.
well real peoples are reviewing it at some point then maybe someone got through with it but for me its not any proff beside that someone havent did transaction from one sayed account he show off

Lance Master, if your “friend” is real, let me explain something. The reason why you made this post is because your friend got banned and you can’t play together anymore. You have no idea about whether or not your friend RMT-ed, and your actions are emotions-driven. And probably another reason why you made this post, is because your friend didn’t, and your friend didn’t because he knows he RMT-ed and it makes no sense to appeal, but he does not want you to think that he is a cheater))
If you get banned in-game, you get banned from posting on the forums. You need to use a phone number for new Amazon accounts to post on these forums. Secondly, the appeals process is a massive joke, they will not say anything apart from you’re cheating and that’s it, and you will get a response that you’re permanently banned even if you’re not as some people have mentioned.
