How does one obtain trusted status in lost ark ?
I bought royal crystals from the store to buy some cosmetic items and would like to sell the left over crystals for badly needed gold. But when I try to sell the crystals the Currency Exchange it says my account needs to have a trusted status

Requesting you to please refer to the following post from our Official Lost Ark Community Manager:
"… players that are not already ‘Trusted’ through Lost Ark (but have a ‘Trusted’ Steam account) to have two-factor mobile authentication set up on their Steam account to earn Trusted status.
Two-factor authentication is a great way add an extra layer of security to protect your Steam and Lost Ark accounts, and we encourage all Arkesians to activate Steam’s Mobile Authenticator. To learn more about Steam’s two-factor authentication and how to set it up, please visit the Steam Support website . Please note it may take several hours for your account to become ‘Trusted’ after activating two-factor authentication for the first time."

I am sorry to hear you seem to be having issues with getting your trusted status from Steam to reflect in Lost Ark. Please note that accounts that have not met certain requirements with Steam will have lower purchase limits and will not be able perform certain in-game actions as listed here:
- Initiating player-to-player trades (requests can still be received)
- Sending in-game gifts
- Exchanging Royal Crystals for Gold
- Sending in-game mail with attachments
Some additional restrictions were added with the Patch update on July 20th:
Added new preventions to deter gold sellers. Paid gold (purchased from the currency exchange) will have a 3-day withholding period. Gold that is under a withholding period will be called ‘withheld funds’. Gold without a withholding period will be called ‘available funds’. Withheld funds will be restricted in the following ways:
- Cannot send withheld funds through mail
- Cannot deduct from withheld funds when accepting billing mail
- Cannot use on 1:1 trades
- Cannot use in Auction House
- Cannot use in Marketplace
- Cannot use in Loot Auctions
This is part of a security measure that is in place to combat bots and of which you can further read about here:
In order to make your account trusted you will need to have performed a purchase(s) for at least $5 (less than a year ago), where sometimes Steam will require a period of 30 days to have passed from the date of the purchase. You will also need to set up the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator specifically for this status update to take place.
How to set up Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator
Please note it may still take several hours for your account to become ‘Trusted’ after activating two-factor mobile authentication for the first time and up 30 days depending on Steam’s clear time.

what a great gaming experience, I am item level 1415, got 5€ in steam wallet weeks ago, not trusted yet, can’t buy accessories, can’t get invited do to any content because I have 2x3 engravings, what a great game, can’t wait to do 0 damage to Deskaluda next week too

If you are following all those steps, please do keep in mind that the system can take up to 30 days to award an account the trusted status. If such time has gone by already, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us via our live chat service so that one of our colleagues can help you raise a web ticket catered to your specific situation. They’ll be able to give you updates via email!

Hi. Just like others who posted the issue with “Trusted Status”, I, too, have the issue with “Trusted Status” in the game. I have loaded more than US$5 in Steam in June 2020 and got the “Trusted Status” in Steam. I have set up the mobile authenticator. Ironically, I still do not get the “Trusted Status” in the game of Lost Ark. I don’t even know whom to contact from Lost Ark or Amazon Games side. I though time would fix everything, but obviously it didn’t. So here I am, kindly ask you to help me solve this issue. Thanks.
hello i set my account info and the img of trusted account on steam on forums as required from the people in charge of forum like 5 months ago. I still waiting to be able to send mails cuz keep saying my account is not trusted. I can use the AH but still unable to mail at all. DO U GUYS CAN STOP LIYING ABOUT THE WE GONNA REVIEW OR CHECK WE HAVE MONTHS WAITING AND U GUY STILL DOING NOTHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM

the sad thing is that this is probably true.
I am on day 73 after meeting all requirements, I don’t want to spend money on crystals because I am curious to see how long it will actually take after I got steam trusted and set up 2FA
Guys don’t waste your nerves. It’s much better to spend money on d4 and have fun from gaming than frustration in LA.

10 euro and buy crystals. I had same problem.
So you trust us enough to take our money up front in the purchase of the crystals but not enough to swap them from one type of in game currency to another. Gotcha. That’s pretty balls.
