Yeap and here I am, STILL suffering from the region IP ban when I’m in eastern Canada. 2 days now, who knows how long it’ll be?

IP bans only stop the lazy rmt botters, who were probably just gonna scam people and split. Real rmt bots will always find a way around this crap and quickly. It is how they make a living after all.

I think not. Escape from Tarkov just solved their RMT issue. Coding is the key. Amazon hasn’t implemented any real coding to stop it yet to stop RMT and they are just banning bots.

There is big business going on… It’s not like 2 nerdy students sitting in their basement running 10 bots… Game needs some kind of player verification or we will never see a change

AGS will not use the real solution, which is to permaban RMT-ers because they want to protect the whales who will potentially spend on the game. They are trying to get rid of bots without touching the whales.
AGS is throwing all OTHER crap at the bots and hope 1 of them sticks but as we can see, none of this bullshit IP/region block will work. This is the 2nd time AGS has done region blocking, look how effective it is.

what is an “Regular” ?
EFT (great game btw) has a much small playerbase then LA or most mmos tbh but you are right with coding is key. honestly AGS is going the exact same way all other mmos I played has. They never do anything to actually combat it. Few banwaves here n there, vpn/country block and then after awhile they just stop caring. Its the cycle of life for every mmo I played.

the queues are legit the single reason why i don’t understand AGS. Using bots for PR, fine, letting RMT flourish, fine, questionable content release decision to make more money, fine - but letting dozens of thousands legit users stuck in the queues is bad decision from every single angle.
if they are really helpless in this battle, just block access to the game for EVERY untrusted account. At least that will piss off only 0.01% of legit players, but fucks over millions bots

I mean theoretically the amount of bots should reach a new peak because of the vendor changes …
U took one of their most effecient gold sources + market prices should slightly go up because the t3 bots can sell less materials. They also have to make up for the progress they lost cause of the ban.
To compensate less income, the lost progress and probably a higher demand of gold (cause of prices going up) u just need more bots 
Its just like real life. If two experienced and efficient employee leave u might need three new.

To make it more spicy, i just sat through a 7500k+ queue only to get close to logging on and got disconnected, so I just started on a new 8500k+ queue. Good times…

What a clown fest AGS. They really don’t know what each other are doing do they? Lack of internal communication at it’s best or they are trying to cover up the state of their game.
