… for doing a great job keeping in touch with the community and sharing news and bits of info we need. Same goes for the community moderators and other staff members who have to deal with people on a daily basis.
I’ve been quite active in the community surrounding this game, but of all the social platforms, the official forums are by far the most negative, even at what would otherwise be considered positive changes to the game.
Quotes taken out of context or criticizing the CMs for simply passing on information seems pretty dumb to me, considering that communication has always been a topic of discussion when it comes to Lost Ark.
I am glad that the view and hatred that AGS gets is not nearly to the level of these forums, and a lot of people on Reddit, Twitter or Discord seem to appreciate the fact that Roxx and the team communicates with us whenever there’s doubt or new updates on the horizon, and most of us appreciate that.
Good. We love Roxx who does a great job for the community. Keep up the good work @Roxx . We support you and the haters have proven to not even understand what your job is so you’re welcome to veto their opinions.
Yeah, you go to General Discussion or Game Feedback to look for actual good ideas, and then you find posts calling out Amazon for doing X wrong and not adding daily rewards immediately after they end.
Then they add a filler week of rewards and people make a thread about them being worthless rewards. Sometimes I wonder if this entire forum is a social experiment, nobody complains as much as people do here.
I have plenty of issues with AGS and how they threat the community/players but I’ve a lot of respect for Roxx and how active and engaged she is with the community and she absolute gets too much flak directed her way despite it not being her fault
Criticism is great, needs to be said and heard but remember that people like Roxx aren’t developers, they don’t make the big decisions we hate/love and deserve none of the vitriol that’s usually packaged with the criticism.
Unpopular take, but I think AGS is doing a decent job. You will only ever notice the 1% of screaming kids that post here all day and threaten to quit, but most players I know are genuinely having fun and don’t care much about what people here make a huge deal of.
Roxx is the best! She can only share so much but I think she’s doing a great job sharing our feedback and giving the development perspective on a number of issues.
@Roxx is the one shining light at AGS. Absolute hero willing to wade into battle laden threads. It is a tough job, but I appreciate the one Roxx does. I have a lot of gripes, but Roxx isn’t one of them. Kudos.
SHE GETS PAID to do it. It’s her JOB, it’s what she HAS to do.
That is a concept 14 year olds apparently don’t get. They are not doing anything out of goodness of their heart. They are here to represent their company and their companys highest good, not yours, not ours. You dumb kids ignore all the times when CMs straight out LIE about anything to get their company off the hook, make up bullshit reasons and feed dumb kids that would eat up anything because they don’t grasp the surface of what real life is like.
Imagine writing open letters to ebays customer service to thank them for doing good job, or your local cashier.
Roxx gets paid to represent a company. She relays information to us based on what they tell her. Just because you don’t like/believe that information, is no reason to get angry at her. And there absolutely is a reason to empathize with soneone having to take the amount of shit she and others have to regardless of their paycheck.
Idk what u are talking about but the communication up till now has been atrocious. Not saying it’s the CM’s fault, but whoevers fault it is, it’s bad and it hasn’t changed as of yet. Proven by the incident that happened last week.
The last thing we need is a post saying they are doing good while in fact they are not doing a great job communicating with the players at the right times.
