I am frustrated

No one can understand the decisions being made. AGS has been silent since the Argos hit. They released content that almost 99% of the playerbase cant access.

That’s because you lack the ability to think outside the box and say “why” is this happening.

If you’re ok with Amazon releasing new content for people who only swipe their credit cards to reach 1370 because it’s not possible otherwise, then sure.

Lack the ability to think outside the box because I disagree with you, nice lol. The thinking you’re doing right now, isn’t really unique, btw. It’s a F2P game. You do the math.

That aside though, you ever consider the content isn’t meant to be consumed IMMEDIATELY after release? There are time gates in everything. Would you rather have had them postpone the release of Argos until more of the player base was closer to the iLvl threshold? That’s what WoW does. You seem upset because they released it and you aren’t there yet.

I’ve never played a free to play game or p2p or subscription game that releases new content that I am not able to join based on the amount of hours I have grinded.

The only game to do that in 30 years is lost ark :joy:

WoW with LFR and wing staggering?
WoW with Mythic raids?

Since when has time played ever been a guarantee of anything?

What? You have access to all that by the time they come out. Your gear comes from the previous raid or dungeons lmao.

I play the game everyday all day I should have what I need to enter the new content. If any game skips that logic it fails.

I played lost ark for 400 hours and it wasn’t enough for the new content because Amazon walled off everyone at 1340 and required a credit card to reach 1370 to do the new content.

Entitlement.

The KR server operates under this assumption, that you can offset swiping by playing enough. Not strange to appeal to precedent.

Yes actually I think they should have postponed Argos a few weeks, or at least released it in addition to content for the 1340-1370 ilvl range to provide some fun things to do beyond grinding 1340 content and to help get more people ready for legion raids, which is their stated goal after all.

Not doing that and just releasing Argos made it obvious that their priorities were not aimed at what would be best and engaging for most players.

You mean you, and the content rushers, and people who don’t know how MMORPG works.

But, aren’t the majority of players in T1 and T2? So releasing content only for 1340 - 1370 is P2W and there is no way a F2P player can leave T1 and T2 without swiping or making gold to buy Blue Crystals to then use in Mari’s that almost everyone who in T3 is already doing.

There are so many ways one can reach T3 and help them get to the 1370 range. The thing is, people just don’t want to do it and want to get 1370 faster by doing it easier. People in all tiers, even Tier 3, still can’t and won’t learn mechanics. Why even complain about not being able to do Argos if people can’t even do Tytalos or Achates or even the Armored Nac or Ig? Oh, little tiny scorpions that come out, that you have to kill, because they chase you around and deal hard hitting aoe dmg? You have people wiping to the dumbest stuff and not understanding how it works. Yet you want to do Argos?

Sorry you can’t do Argos a month into the game  Maybe the spoon AGS needs to feed all of us needs to be bigger and they should wear mittens when they hold our hands through the content.

I dont even know what to say anymore. seems there’s a language barrier. Are u secretly an amazon employee. were arguing in different threads. you keep comparing Lost Ark to other mmorpgs and dead set that the grind is the content.

The grind will be the content though because every future legion raid is ilvl gated.

I don’t think It’s the language barrier, you’re dead set biased and don’t want to do what game has to offer, set your bounty high up at latest content and when you can’t do it you come to forum and make a complaint instead of find a solution or play something else.

I bet lots of people who complaining about Argos doesn’t even have side contents 50% done each.

You are correct that most players are in T1/T2, but getting in to T3 isn’t the issue here due to islands. You swept up the 1340+ progression in there but it is not a good comparison. Even for those players, they are in the group of people not yet at 1370 and therefore are also lacking the kind of content to bridge that gap people are asking for (abyss trials, heroic guardians, etc.).

I also don’t understand what some people wiping on guardians has to do with me wanting more fun things to do post 1340. You seem very mad about that lol, maybe if you don’t think people can do Argos this soon then perhaps that shouldn’t have been their priority for releases?

How is playing a game being not being entitled to the new content?

How is not paying real money for gear enhancements to enter the new content entitlement?

You sound like an issue IRL lmao.

I hear you. The forums are a cesspool of negativity. There is a reason for that. Feedback is usually going to be negative here. But feedback is what can make changes happen so it’s a necessary evil. Putting your blinders up won’t make the problems go away, but they say ignorance is bliss for a reason. So if it helps you enjoy the game, by all means, don’t read about the problems the game is having.

I’m glad you are enjoying the game. But it is quite evident that many others are not. You might consider the people complaining or heralding doom to be in the wrong, but can they not say the same about you? Without any basis to believe so, you say you have faith that Amazon or Smilegate will end up doing a good job and suggest others chill.

Someone’s complaint might seem premature to you, but perhaps that person already went through a similar experience with New World, and understands the urgency of making a difference in time this time (even if they have to be loud from the get go).

Not saying you’re wrong to have faith, of course. But suggesting that everyone else should be chilling and having faith is also kind of meh.

How do you not see this as entitlement?

I play this game every day and all day and I should have what I need to enter the new content!

Say it out loud, see how it sounds. Just because you play the game every day and all day, doesn’t mean you’re ENTITLED or owed anything.

You think you’re the only one who plays every day and all day? I know I play every day and all day but don’t go around saying that I should have what I need.

On islands? Most of my T3 mats come from either the Market, Mari’s, with Pirate Coins, and Bloodstones. I do a lot of trading on the Market to make gold. Everything I can sell, I generally do. I did Armored Nac and Igx once and both Abyssals once, the second one we didn’t even clear because the Berzerker face tanked everything from Albion and the Paladin was running a T2 DPS build, in T3.

I’m at 1348 and that is fine by me. Abyss Trials, Heroic Guardians, whatever else is missing, I’ll try it once but it’s 100% not going to be where my mats come from. Cubes, Tower, all of that, still haven’t done them because doing the T3 version of those is kind of a little hard on a Bard, especially by yourself.

The problem is is that people want it NOW. They want it now and they want to get there easily with an abundance amount of materials, the typical stereotype of abundance culture in western society. People don’t know how to improvise, how to work around it. Mats missing? Figure out a way to get it. Done all your Mari’s? Exhausted the supply with Pirate Coins? Even buying things completely unrelated to mats to make gold to buy mats? It all takes effort but people don’t want to go through the extra effort yet still want it. In fact, demand it and stomp their feet like children until it’s done.

Who cares if the other regions have this or that, we have this. If you like that region with what they have and what they got, honestly, go play there. Because obviously, it’s TOO HARD to play on NA/EU. That’s what people are saying when they say there isn’t enough mats.

People can’t even learn basic mechanics for T1 to T3 encounters yet complain about not being able to do Argos. Something as simple as opening up Maxroll to read a guide for less than 10 minutes on how to do an encounter and what to expect. And even if they didn’t learn the fight, pressing spacebar to dodge something or kill an add. Or you know, having Party/Raid chat open to see any comms. Or listen for any pings. Basic things in an MMO world and this is a first MMO for a lot of people.

Fun is subjective. I find spinning my boat in circles fun. I find dressing up as an egg and running around asking people if they want to crack me open fun. Collecting Mokokos is fun to me. I am often very low on Pirate Coins because I find collecting the cards fun because they make my numbers bigger in the Card Catalog. I even find standing in one spot reporting bots and clearing the block list multiple times fun.

And if you want more things to do at 1340+, have you looked at your main’s setup? Still have T2’s? Gems fine? Have gold? Have silver? Tripods okay? Quality up to par? Adventure islands, Chaos Gates, Virtues, everything all good there? More than 330 Skill Points at least? Exhausted your rested if any? Did the event? Buy out the event? Una’s? Una’s on alts?

A lot of that stuff, people don’t want to do. Then they say, “No content!” or fill it by parroting it with something that some streamer or YouTuber said.

Who cares if people at 1370+ are doing Argos. I don’t care if they’re doing it. Let them enjoy the game and you find what’s enjoyable to you. Sorry they’re at a higher item level than you for you to enjoy the game. Sorry if they swiped and they got their gear buy purchasing the mats like how you could from the market. Their item level does not affect your item level or even my item level. It’s not like you guys are buying anything off the market anyway because evidently, mats are too scarce.

That’s just WoW and a terrible example if you want to compare a dying game filled with sexual deviants in their company to a new game with great promise.
