I am Steam trusted, but still cannot send mail with attachments

Hi! I have the Steam Trusted Status as I’ve bought games in the past. I can friend and everything to. However, in game, I am unable to send mail with attachments. Every time I do so, there’s a message that pops up saying I need to have the trusted status. All my friends can still send me mail though.

@Roxx is there any solutions to this?

I’m sorry to hear what’s happening with your account, trusted accounts should send mails with attachments with no problems, like your friends did.

Right now, I’d recommend you to contact Steam Support first, to see if there’s any problem as of why your account is flagged as non-trusted.

If the issue persists after this, contact us via live chat so your case can be escalated in order to find a prompt solution to this.

@Santoryu Hello! Not relating to this topic, but my games been acting weird lately as well. Twice today, When I launched the game, it popped up the new player warning thing, and then put me in EU West server. I’m in NA West and did not change anything regarding it. On the first launch, it wouldn’t even let me select the other server, saying it was “closed”. I can only select t once I shut down the game.

Could you override it somehow if the account linked to prime gaming @Santoryu

That’s an odd one, haven’t heard or seen that.

If you haven’t done any troubleshooting yet, please verify the integrity of the game files, and make sure your Operating system is updated, and the time shown is the correct one on your computer as well.

If the issue persists, chat with us so your case can be investigated. You can shut down the game and it works fine after that but that’s definitely not the expected behavior. I will have a look and see if other players are reporting this and I’ll share any updates with you over here.

I spoken to 3 amazon gaming CS. 2 just say you need to purchase to be steam trusted so amazon is forcing us to buy something? The third one is confused on what is happening so not looking good at Amazon ends too

my account is linked to prime gaming… cost a lot more than $5 to be steam trusted could moderators or amazon gaming cs not understand that?

@blueszeto Amazon Prime/Prime gaming is not related to the Steam limited user (or non-trusted) accounts.

My main steam account is in Japan it doesn’t allow me to download the English version because Japanese version exist. In this account I have made purchases which should enable steam trusted

HOWEVER

Like many other players outside EU and NA, we had to make a second steam account to play the game, account that is based in the US or EU otherwise the game would not be available for us to download. So this new account would have no purchases there although many of us has purchased games on our main account and able to access these games too on this second account. But login back on my main Japan steam account doesn’t allow me to play English Lost Ark still.

So Amazon is really trying to force us to buy in-game items or something in steam then? Is this game not published by Amazon? Why Amazon is not looking after their prime subscriber.

I am curious though the moderators here employed by Amazon or Smilegate. Because I’ve seen conflicting things where the moderator here say to contact Amazon gaming CS and then Amazon gaming CS there say to contact the moderator here. It is a disjointed back and forth.

One idea is my Amazon just don’t make it available to download on their website or through prime gaming which is their own platform.

or one idea is just to allow us to put equipment in shared storage so we dont have to use the mail to send things between our characters on the same account that would help f2p players gearing their ALT

Like I said steam doesn’t allow me to get trusted on my US account because my paypal also in japanese address nor when I try to pay with credit card it requires me to enter the address in US. When I try to enter my address in Japanese it said my account will be change into japanese account.

Obviously I am not a bot and all I wanted is simply just to send items to my alts now it is not possible through the mail. So can a solution would be let us be able to share it through roster storage.
