I am doing 2 chaos with my main char and quit, cuz this game is…
i just want do more content to do each day or each week bro.
4 characters doing 2 chaos 2 igre
4 char doing various una, + 2 char doing lopang (soon 3/3) but here is let say 15 min a week
- allegro card farm, adventure isle, WB or chaos gate. and most of days, the coop sea events
at least 4 cube 4 boss rush a week
4x punika abyss + feiton abyss for gold (and cards)
A calm pace untill sumoner release.
And it does more than 4h a week :’)
later ill have Argos, Valtan, Biackiss, Kakul, just to be able to reach ilvl to do Abrelshud Hardmode, because abrelshud = goddess i have to show my trength to :x
if i see what i did in wow/FFXIV… was same… daily dungeon, weekly raid and… done
your content look boring i feel sorry for you.
did the same on… all mmorpg, all are about daily routine
You complained about being timegated. i am far from getting close to my timegate, but don’t want to have in the end more than 6 characters (sumoner and arcana being the last i am waiting)
Say me one game that is not about daily routine. BDO and GW2 you can avoid a little, because there are many things to farm for the same thing. but Aion, WoW, FFXIV, Tera, BNS, SWTOR, they are all about doing your routine most days, with sometime more variety with patches… for lets say 3 days until going back to daily routine
no in other mmorpg you have like 4 - 8 dungeon to do, or even old dungeon who scale on you lvl.
Here you are doing the same content x number of alt (if you are in the same tier)
Is very bad, sorry to say it, i like the game, but not this.
One dungeon per week is very bad.
in wow, 10 dungeons during 2 years did it from BC with 2 characters up to 5 characters in cata,
in FFXIV, 4 dungeon for 6-8 months (and in FFXIV, due to how games work, all is totally predictable) did it with 2 characters
Did it on different char to have various gameplay and to have more different job/class ready to help guildmate for endgame content. was filling empty role. else 1 character would be enough, and daily routine to work on one character : 30 minutes
GW2 t4 fractals even with affix variety in the end it is always same thing after 2 weeks it become boring.
For LA, i have all this time to improve my sumoner when will be there. because this is the only difference between WoW/FFXIV and LA in the daily farm topic : on the first two, each character work for itself. in LA, the roster works for your main. making it a way to farm more. and i like the fact to not always stick on the same gameplay
10 dungeon you can spam if you want, its already better than two dungeon per week no ?

i had a little fun for some heroic dungeon back in BC. then came WOTLK and it became boring after 1 week. mythic appeared in wod, but were fast enough, during wod, finally just another thing to do to get reward, without being interesting
having 10 different boring things is not better than chaos dungeon + igrexion in the end (and i have 6 more guardian incoming over igrexion. with time, one after other, i like guardian figts)
The illusion of variety doesn’t affect me anymore …
you know, that’s exactly what they want. less players playing all the time is lower concurrent player average, lowers the chance of servers freaking out, lowers maintenance cost. but you’re still playing regularly, so higher active user count, and while you’re still actively playing there’s a chance that you might spend some money on the game. can’t get much better from the dev’s stand point
people did applause yoshida for saying “do a break, touch grass” … but it was the good deal.
long break (more than 45 days = chance to get a house getting released so less problem about housing
most of time, people are autmoatic subscription pay, so income is there
cash shop is growing everytwo weeks ? no problem they will maybe buy when comeback.
But yes, from publisher pov small game time but regular is the best customer.
this is also why i will always and forever complain about cash shop in subscription mmorpg “just cosmetic” yes, but it doesnt force the dev to aim for the highest player retention… (to have as many sub as possible to get more money) Because even people who stop their sub, they can buy aaaaaall what was added in cash shop while not there… so not a real problem to have one dude leave for 2, 3, 6 month or even a year… only sub lost, not CS lost

a really good expansion. yes, legion was a really good one, 2nd for me after BC.
But it continued with the boring daily routine that was initiated with BC (the only red flag for me for BC) doing each day my routine, each week the weekly capped content (all lfr/raid in normal/heroic to farm as much power as possible, again and again) … and being withtout guild/roster, did have curves in 1 month (6 week for the tomb one) and then… just… routine until bored to death.
its what i did, i play lost ark.
In BDO you can farm forever if you want.
except the farm of the legendary weapon XP.
But the legendary weapons was so fun, for all the classes, when we have lost the weapon, the game did come back boring.
it is what i showed you can do in LA
you can farm 7-8h a day. don’t worry
and later a 14h will be able, i speak about efficient farm.
like in BDO, you can farm 12h a day, killing ahib again and again… pack after pack, again and again, for hours and hours…
what difference between killing ahib for hours
or doing 24time igrexion + 24time chaos dungeon each day ? nothing…
