I don't understand how you release legion raids according to Korea, but not release classes according to Korea?

Divium furur on YouTube plays on Russia, they have an api or something that shows number of characters, most people have alts so it’s guess work, but if you assume it’s like 3 or 4 characters per player it falls in that range. I believe they only have two servers for the whole region

And sadly MOST of the people are in this boat, they have never used their “mains” they just like how they look but in this game you HAVE to use it in order to know if you would like it or not (it happened to me, i love how zerk looks but after using him for a week i just dropped him)

Inb4 people start calling you white knight just for sharing your opinion about the topic :x

If only there were other versions for players to test unreleased classes. If only.

And I also disagree on a more basic level, some people play a class for the fantasy and the look of the class/abilities, or the roles the class can cover and don’t care as much for the gameplay.

But it shows concurrent players or just characters created since day 1?

Finally someone who can see that. We get everything what we want. I do not mean the honing buff, the classes, the guild changes, the gold problem changes, the more cosmetic items in the shop and etc… but the non-stop giving by them.

I mean, they gathered the data about us what we want and they did exactly what we wanted according to that data and business intelligence.

I’m glad that you mentioned these things and how is problematic if a publisher/developer is trying to please their community. Just look at FFXIV and their huge, non-family like playerbase. Who wants that? I mean, would you like to play a game with complete strangers on every corner?

At least we will have the success of New World here too and we can have a small but true playerbase of 20-30k player. I can’t wait for that, cause for me: That’s the true mmo experience.

I’m glad that you shared this, cause that means there are others who thinks that way. <3

You could be right if the people complaining were aeromancers “mains”, but that is not the case, we are talking about classes that have been in the game for years, and many people have played in other servers (or in the beta for the west version).

Imagine thinking majority of the players actually played the RU version, thats the whole point you are talking from your Veteran player POV.

If it showed characters created from day one that would be a total failure, i think it shows characters that logged on that day. The number was something like 70,000, and of course a percentage are bots but nowhere like west. So if 60,000 are true characters and there’s 3 characters per player, that’s 20,000 players logging on that day

Many majority, we could say majority of the people on this forum tested the RU version and i could believe that but im pretty sure the majority are casual players (just like in any other mmorpg)

Oof i can only imagine how is the JP version looking (since AFAIK is the version with less players)

Again, you hit the nail on the head! People are not allowed to use VPN and mostly they shouldn’t even use google, research and decide something based on their preference like: " OMG, I LIKE THIS! "

It’s like buying a new phone based on research only. Like, who does that? You buy at least 5-6 phone before you find the right one. I mean, it happened to me. I thought I like Samsung but after a week, I knew it’s not for me.

Also… this is Lost Ark, not like other games. I mean, you can pick a class in WoW or in FFXIV like that, but here… you have to try it, cause this game is something very much different.

Again, thanks for explaining these things on a way everyone can understand it. <3

I’m glad that people here still take you seriously, cause I would be really ashemed if your opinion wouldn’t matter just because your logic seems non-existent to some even if it’s there. I mean, I can see the logic, after you explaining it.

I think he’s researched Japan a bit too, but yes I’ve heard JP is even lower than Russia in activity. The guy is not very PC and relies on humor a lot, but you can tell he does his research at least

In that case, you should have went the way every other region released. Starting in Tier 1 and releasing classes all throughout Tier 1, Tier 2 and beginning of T3. Because if you want to compare it to Korea, we can compare it in another way : Every classes besides Sorceress and Artist were available for Brelshaza.

You want classes to be filler “content” (I’d rather call them “Vessel”, a mean to experience the CONTENT, raids, islands, abyssal dungeons, chaos dungeons, pvp), but the later you release them, the harder it’ll be for people wanting to play them to be up to date for the content release.
You will tell me that we can hoard materials untill our class release, yes indeed we can, but in that case, you don’t want your actual playerbase to experience the content you’re releasing. And, at the very least, you could give us an actual order for the class release so people can actually prepare for their class, like in Korea when they know months in advance, and not at the best 2 months in advance.

You’re telling us that new classes brings new players in, but with the state of the game right now, you won’t see new people coming in, why ? Let me break it down in 2 points :

1)Bots, the biggest problems. This is what new players are going to see first. This is also what will probably the breaking part for new players aswell. I don’t see myself start a game where I see mostly bot people running around at the lower level/lower Tier zone.

2)Honing. Right now, for a new player that wants to experience, let me say, the raid content, Argos, Valtan and everything about it, they’ll just leave. There’s a reason why other regions got the honing buffs soon after the first raids. The game isn’t new player friendly at all. With a LOT of different SYSTEMS. There’s a reason the 1340-1370, also called the deadzone, is the playerbase killer. Most left at the end of Tier 2 or during that deadzone.
Edit on this part : I meant for the RU version and the JP version about the honing buffs. KR got it during Brelshaza.

You still have a solid playerbase, way more than what Smilegate expected, besides the bots, we can still count around 100k to 200k CCU. Focus on those players, focus on your playerbase. It’s them who will keep your game alive, not new players. Lost Ark is and will still be kind of a niche game.

Summoners players, that had the chance to play her during CBT, has it the worst of all.

IMO, either all classes that released during T1/T2 should have been in T3 since we started right there, or you made us climb all the way through T1/T2, with accelerated pacing (3 months for each Tier should be fine).

But again, it’s not about making your playerbase/customers happy, it’s about business. We all know it.

I know you’re only the messenger Roxx, and I don’t hold you accountable of what is happening. I just hope your higher-ups and Smilegate will understand that the situation is not ideal at all towards us.

Unfortunately a lot of people fail to realize what you said, a lot of people only play Assassin in every game and some only play Warriors and the same goes for Mage etc, and I’m one of those people.

I guess some people just have too big of an ego to have a bigger perspective on how other people see or enjoy things, if that’s not how it works for them then it doesn’t work for you too apparently.

I don’t know who will be against a faster class release except those who are currently enjoying the game with their mains and not giving a crap about other people.

Then you have some people treating this game as if its a different game than Lost ark KR as if people don’t already know what’s on other versions of the game.

Im all for people getting their class if by now they should’ve been released, specially summoners, but dont lie here to fit your narrative, honing buffs were in place post vykas, dont pretend honing is a problem cause we dont have a honing buff we shouldnt have in the first place.

More game less cry

and also people like my friend that wants to test all the classes and don’t want to stress out getting all the materials to get them to a good ilvl, or also people playing at their own peace trying to discover which class they like, Not everyone is a veteran and knows everything about the game. Im not saying they are majority but they exist, i guess you dont have a bigger perspective on how other people see or enjoy things.

Yes! Exactly, while you are saying this to him, as someone who can see. I mean, you told him to not do something what you just did… however, you already proven yourself smart and someone who is relieable.

I mean, if he would only take a moment and think about what you were saying… Man, you are always a breath of fresh air.

So if that is your logic, can we have cash shop packages? Higher gold cost? Paid power passes? Because they exist in all other regions as well for years right? Lets also bring back RNG rolling for pet stats and separate pet buff sub with crystalline and discontinue blue crystal for crystalline as well.

Oh wait you mean on the stuff that you want it 4 month old game should have everything 4 year old region has but not for the stuff you don’t want right?

Not trying to defend AGS here but selective entitlement is getting old on this forum.

Just go enjoy the damn game. I want to play Scouter pretty badly and same with Reaper. But I do not need to throw a temper tantrum when there are 17 other classes to play.

Because that is literally all you guys are doing. Throwing temper tantrum about what you want while trying to sugarcoat it up like you are fighting for some imaginary injustice.

Well, then shouldn’t we listen to the f majority? Crazy idea uh?
