I was under the impression that when you redeem things like pets or mounts from founders packs or Twitch drops they become available for your whole roster. As in I can use the cat on all my characters. Now that I’ve got them in the game this is what I see:
Why is it saying “1 character per Account”? Is that yet another confusing wording or is whatever I redeem indeed only available on one of my characters?
Why does everything have to be this confusing? Why can’t things just be account wide? I paid quite a bit of money, I don’t understand why should things be limited to only one of my characters when we can create a whole bunch of them.
Crystallaine aura is account wide (doesnt matter which server you are on)
The founders pack pets and mounts are roster bound (i.e. your server) so any of your characters on thet server will be able to access the pets and mounts from the pet/mount UI
The skins are character bound though
I think (could be wrong), that the lawmaker skins once claimed can be used by other characters of the same class, i.e. paladins, berserkers, gunlancers can use them, but you have to put the skins in your roster storage and pick it up on the other character to use it
Hope that helps
(Yes it really sucks that skins are bound to a character once redeemed and not an account thing)
Thanks, appreciate that! Do you know about the Twitch drop pets? If I redeem the fox, does it become available on all my characters or just the one I redeemed it on?
Every other pet I’ve gotten once used on a character was available to all of my other characters. I’m assuming it works the same, but I haven’t received a twitch drop so ymmv.
I just posted this in another thread, not sure if it’s helpful to you, but it should help you figure out what is bound to character, account, and what is tradable to anyone in game.
