How do you get gate kept at 1505?

gatekeeping in this game is the worst ive ever seen it compared to other games
so just because its not a necessity people should accept you in to a group? why are you so fucking entitled to get carried? im glad i have a solid static, cba with lazy pugs.

Still beats LA by mile but I won’t discuss the tastes. M+ and raiding stand strong still.

LA only has legion raid and LA PVP is just bullshit infuriating/not fun
Agreed, even raids here are snoozefest, clown grew boring 2 weeks in. Gonna be full lv. 2 next reset.

If you plan to pug Brel without doing Clown you risk getting gatekept as you dont have level 2 set that you aquire from doing Clown.
Nope. Even if you get to 1475 and you go to clown you’re gonna get destroyed right in the G1 as even 1490 players struggle to do it. Getting the Gearset upgrades can be a big increase for your damage, but you have to really tryhard to get through it. And by really tryharding I mean that if you learn the mechs, go in, use purple pots, time stop, eat feasts/food and use comms, you’ll fail without getting through any gates if you’re still just out there having fun and running around not being familiar with the entire fight and all the random mechanics
And I’m saying that with experience when we failed simply to not having enough damage because our support was being a clown with the meter mechanic and so we struggled to do consistent damage, while also not having 5x3 on everyone as I only have 2x Adrenaline + 1x Heavy Armor since getting 3x would cost me 129-179k and one DD having similar things going for them
However if you’re just focusing on Brel while stalling… you’re not exactly going right there either

Clown is super fun and you can actually skip mechs on it if you’re overgeared. Nice to see your alts progress and killing it faster every week.
its a common practice in other regions for ppl to skip clown > get brel gear > run clown, at that point skipping mechanics in clown becomes common not a luxury for the overgeared.
If people gatekeep Brel NORMAL[set bonus wise] we dropped the ball.

i mean lets be real ive been saving and farming mats for 4 months… i have 400k gold…57x 9999 stacks of destruction stones… 101x 9999 guardian stones, 77xz 30 fusion stone chests from SH saved… and well over 12k GHL on all my alts that are tradable, and i believe last i checked 948k shards just stacking on my main, not including the 50+ chests of L bags in my inventory somewhere… i lost count to many…probably another mill easy… … i could get a +25 wep today if i choose.

Because this game is designed by the principle of gatekeeping simulator. Everyday we try to find a new way to gatekeep people, even the gatekept will become gatekeeper in future, it’s our destiny.
Trust me in future you will become a gatekeeper too 
I call bull, doing just G1 since week 1, as I don’t want to learn any more mechanics at the moment.
Started it with 1510 destro now at 1520 pugs only. It just melts. I don’t care what the rest of the group is as long as they can ping hearts and not die to that mech.
Same experience on alt bard 1480, I just pick groups with at least one 1500+ in them and G1 melts away.
You definitely don’t get much from a lvl2 gear upgrade, it’s a miniscule increase in damage.
Door one is fine. The two that is where I have stayed, backfires everywhere. Birds that come out all over the middle of the pizza, and constant harassment with hardly any windows of opportunity.
without the whale gear you’re out, entry being 1475.
If you have at least 4x3 and Level 7 Gems, the DPS is already ok to have some room of breath for all gates… Considering everyone is 1475-1480
The mechanics are harder than Vykas, for sure, but it’s not too hard in my opinion. Despite some people dismissing it, I agree with Vissu that if I need to Pug for Gate 1-2 of Brelshaza I’ll look for people with some Level 2 upgrades to their sets… Just because it’ll be visible that they have more experience in raids…
Normally I’ve been doing Clowns with my Guild and with our Alts (1475 characters) we normally take less than an hour to make the clown, sometimes up to 30 minutes more, so after you get the hang of it it’s not that hard.
