I started a guild when the game first came out since I recruited a few friends to play Lost Ark. Since then, I’ve been a very active player (think I’ve logged in every day but one or two since launch, kinda pathetic lol) and GM.
I think I’m a decent GM. Currently the guild is level 13, max shop, max battle/sailing weekly missions, and I use bloodstones to reroll to make it so Boss Rush/Cube/Gienah Coins are our 3 weekly missions every week.
Contribution is pretty lax, especially with soloable raid bosses now granting contribution. My settings are 160 minimum, 400 goal, 70% guildmate distribution, and I lower the contribution goal if there’s no active research for the week (since that’s 210 easy contribution missing).
I kick inactives after a week unless they put a guild note or let me know in discord.
At this point that doesn’t matter though. Up until two weeks ago, anytime I cleared out inactives, the guild would instantly fill back up.
Now, I literally haven’t had someone join the guild in over 2 weeks.
I even keep a recruitment thread here on the forums active, post in the Lost Ark discord guild recruitment channel, and post on the reddit guild recruitment thread.
A few more weeks of this and I probably just have to abandon the guild and join another.
Anyone else experiencing this in the recent weeks? Seems to coincide with the long queues and people getting fed up with the game.
