As the title says how to go about doing this or just continue to upgrade the crappy blue?
tbh Upgrade the crappy blue in T1 and T2, in Tier 3 the game will slowly guide you with epic, legendary and relic
You get materials to get purple/gold from Abyss Dungeon tokens you spend at the Abyss Crafter usually near the honing NPC.
If you get them you can go to the Hone NPC and gear transfer to transfer your honing levels to the new pieces if you want but you lose the original blue.
I notice u can craft legendary gear using elemental’s fury, can you buy that on the auction house or store?
Also these weekly raids anyway to reset them instantly?
You get them by doing the weekly Abyssals , but you need to finish Yorn first before you can do the T2 one , so there is no point in upgrading to the epic/legendary T1 , when you will be out of it the next day , same with the T2.
You will be out of T1 and T2 gear by the time the Abyssals reset to can do them again.
Also on the T2 one , if you manage to do both T2 Abyssals one after another and buy the boxes , you will have enough materials to craft full purple set .
That is from T1 raids I think.
Save your weekly raid boxes when you reach higher T3. Greaters
It’s not worth it to craft either the purple or gold set. Just upgrade your blue set and get to T3.

nah, just craft it if you want to, it only costs some silver, there is no reason to skip it on your first character
