yes , ru version is much better , but the player community there is 100% more toxic than NA EU /SA due to heavy gatekeeping , if you mistake 1x you’re kicked , but elgacia is there and i did lauriel on hard 2 , it took me 2 weeks ( doing on random that was still learning and they didn’t learned 100% the lauriel pattern shadow + mirros ) but it was fun , i ratter loved to learn abrelshud phase 5 and phase 6 but my party has been disbanded few months of AGS version releases =C
the chinese guys in RU server they’re good ppl , but they don’t play very well , but they’re patience guys , but the RU’s they’re very trashtalk and impatience and many of them are rude ( im not generalizing ) , i have found some Ru’s good ppl also , but they’re very rare .
i’ve been playin ru since march and eveything he says true. game feels more smooth it insta loads, you get in everything faster, no stutters, lags, random crashes. game looks better. ru was so behind kr but in the last 5 months they started to pumping content for ru.
Stop comparing versions of the game that are at different release stages of content and has been released years longer. You might as well compare NA to the KR version.
It’s like comparing a car that was released in 2000 to a car that was released today, of course the new car is going to be better. Stop worrying about what everyone else has and play the game that is available to you. Like they say FOMO in NA is real.
Ru at some point is better and that’s the site event otherwise it’s completely the same as the West version. about the rewards don’t forget their end content is elgacia and abreshuld hard which is 1580 and we are at clown which is 1475. on each click they have to pay 3x times more silver and gold compared to the west version so for sure they have juicy rewards compared to the West version. don’t judge the game blindly,
If there is a better version already, why not released that version then?
How redundant is it to release the old version when the newer version is already out tested and ready for our version to utilize yet we go back in time instead?
Comparison in this matter for this situation is understandable and inevitable.
time and time again any eastern made MMO that releases in the west will have its content butchered and extended out for the sake of squeezing money out of the playerbase. It’s no surprise that the other regions do better than us, they’ve been stagnant in content for much much longer than us, which means they require better events and log-in rewards and handouts to keep players interested and coming back because they dont have anything new to look forwards to next month like we do.
I don’t think that’s the main reason. The reason is that it has no support for English language and because not everyone wants to ALSO pay a VPN service to be able to play.
There’s a English patch which is up to date (every week even with normal maintenance or skin adding). People that actually liked Lost Ark seek the game out and were playing there (real fans), it became a shitshow because Amazon chose to promote it through streamers and that brought the wrong crowd with it.
Quality over quantity, in this case it was quantity over quality with all that comes with it.
the first thing that u need for RU server is u have to speak chinese and have YY app (idk what the fuck is it) becuz when u enter any group they write YY 123560548345 and if u cant answer after 1 min they will kick u
I use a “free” vpn included with my anti virus software and get about 100ms ping.
This is not a comparison of content… Everything listed by the OP(other than Artist) was there on launch of every version but Amazon’s EU/NA client. Even the day 1 rewards in Jp/Ru were better.
Now, I won’t overlook the many positive changes made by AGs such as combining all subscriptions into 1, purchasable with bc(only rc in other versions), free pet rerolls and permanent pet buff(timed & purchased with bc in other versions) etc.
The thing is, even with those taken into account, This is the worse version of Lost Ark excluding main content differences.
The tripod update will be here soon. Every player who doesn’t have theirs saved in tripod storage will lose them. Not one word from AGS yet…
NA. I’ve at most hit 120 ish ms ping, so you should be fine from pretty much anywhere. I’d recommend trying both Ru & Jp to see which gives better ping because they’re about the same content wise. I dropped Ru for Jp about a month ago, even though my ping is worse in Jp since I just love the Jp VOs. I wish AGS would get them here as well.
