Well yeah ive been telling people there isnt much to do in T3 so rushing item level is something i strongly recommend against. Hopefully the upcoming missing content will help you want to come back when its added but the bottom line is:
If you arent having a fun with a game its not worth playing. Hopefully you find something else to enjoy in all your newly found free time
This is as much a psa on why focusing on gear honing and item level is a bad for your own mentality while playing this game as much as it is a psa on why a lot of people will feel the way OP does
Bots are greatly reduced, evident by the fact that in EU currency exchange is now 400 gold (down from 1000).
Game is improving. As for honing, i’ve had pieces go up at 100% artisan energy at 1355 when my friends one-tapped several upgrades. Later it went backwards. Its just rng, a swing. If you dont enjoy it, well, cant do much more than quit.
Yep game has not much content at T3 atm. They should have just released everything available in korea.
The new event and mats got me from 1361 to 1364 i had to spend 40k gold to hit 1370. Luckily I play a lot so I have the gold. But the gane isnt really rewarding anymore and basically no content.
Amazon and smilegate made a big mistake making Hard mode orehas, some Area bosses like moake locked behind paywall or insane amounts of time to grind.

I’m sorry you got bad luck in honing, if you feel that much frustrated then leave the game and go play farmville or something, no one is making you play Lost Ark. RNG is statistics, not from casino, maybe stay in college so you will understand? Frustration is what make people keep playing because it’s a challege for them to overcome, and next time if you wanna argue keep it relevent. I don’t care about Elden Ring so I won’t understand the comparison. I understand how it feels to fail 90% honing too, but I feel like the hapiest man alive when I got 2 legendary class engraving book that worth 20k gold each (when it still worths that much) on the same day. RNG goes both way and it’s the beauty of it. People like you only critisize the bad side but will never remember the time when RNG god “smiles” to you.

Honestly I think it all comes down to how efficient you are with the game. I have only put in 250+ hours into the game and am sitting at 1365 with a alt at 1325. Now this isnt to say that RNG may have been on my side but an extra 150-170 hours you put in should have put you way ahead of me. Now I realize there isnt much content to do unless you are doing islands and completing continents, but I would assume by then you would be at least 1370 with 400+ hours played.

i have steam account with new world and lost ark and i think i spend more then 100$ but game don’t let me trade or email with my brother and my son so i made ticket to steam they say your acc is ok just add a phone number and use Steam Guard BUT my son and my brother account is not trusted i gift them both new world game but gift not work steam gm told me this then i put 30$ on both of them account and they buy skin in lost ark with it but sadly they not trusted bcs they must w8 30 day to be trusted . i post a picture in other thread when i was lf a solution u can see if you want too.
i ask other and saw other post it seems there is a bug if you are trusted u cant trade with untrusted account maybe they fix it in future. i hope its help anyone who need help or don’t have so much info about steam or ags [like me].
my opinion about new patch and game : anything is perfect i have np with game and i love playing with my family im a nurse and casual player don’t know so much about game , steam or ags just plying it BUT i hate this new trusted system bcs i see bot in game i see spammer in chat who sell gold and the lost ark then i see my son cant trade with me bcs i want to give him an item or something this make me feel bad. lost ark lose player every day depend on steam chart system like this just make it worst bcs you know i know everyone know 90% of player are f2p and you add something allow boters sell gold bcs in patch note say u can trade with untrusted so what’s a point of this thing? just make problem for me or new player wana come in game and new on steam ? fix the anti cheat . make trade or email daily limited or make it depend on time play in game or u cant trade or mail if there is no phone number don’t make this game more p2w that’s all .
Actually i say bots are good for the economy, specially if you are free to play. Here is why:
We barely have half of the content or events that KR/RU had to get in game mats and our honing costs / rates are the same as in KR / RU server when they were at T1 / T2 (no T3). Also our Abyssal dungeons have NERFED Gold compared to KR/RU and are ILVL Gated. (you cant boost ALTs through high end content for Mats).
Bots will inject honing mats into the economy and sell them on market at discounted price for us. The only people getting “screwed over” by this is are whales and p2w players, but lets be honest, they are already getting screwed over by the same honing rates and costs as everyone else.
