Personally, I gave up on the economy. The game is not viable as F2P anymore. I just use real money to get pheons/aura and consider it a sub (like 10-15$ a month or something).
Also i mostly buy legendary books, instead of gambling ability stones and only use 1 legendary argos accessory for the missing +3 class engr.
It’s the safer and often cheaper way to build a char unless you luck out on a 7/7+ stone in your first 10 trys or something.
Here’s the thing: All you really have to do is save your current tripods to the inventory so they don’t get lost.
Its another fomo thing… you don’t need a perfect tripod setup right away! Overall the chances to get tripod upgrades are much better with the update. So if you have a few +4 now that’s great, but if you keep playing and picking up gear in chaos dungeons you will eventually get the others too(20%chance instead of 10%). You don’t have to spend 1000$ on a new char like the streamers you know 
Chill. It’s a much better system for all of us and an improvement even if you are not fully prepared.
I don’t bus, I don’t buy gold or sell RC, yet I have over 400k sitting cause I have nothing to spend it on cause all my 6 chars are 5x3.
Only people who struggle to afford anything are the noobs who started playing relatively recently, and they want to skip 8 months of grinding so they cry around about how they can’t afford anything. Not a single person I know who played since February has any problems gearing themselves or their alts. This is an MMO, you can’t just skip progression. Just because game gifts you free ilvl like 1415 or 1445 (soon with the new express) doesn’t mean that you can afford having a 1445 char because you don’t have established roster. If you want to progress in this game you need 1 of the 2 things: You need to swipe your credit card on a weekly basis OR you need to have 6 gold earning characters. Even with 5x 1370 characters and 1 main you can earn over 30-40k weekly. Just because you are lazy or bad at managing your own resources doesn’t mean that game does not offer you a way to earn the gold.
This is a player driven market, whatever prices are they are set by other players because there’s many who can afford them. Why would anyone choose to sell their sht for cheap just so they can help out a noob?

Yeah, or when they realize themselves that there’s ways of making gold their next excuse is “I CAN’T PLAY THIS GAME ALL DAY I HAVE KIDS, WIFE, 17H JOB”. Like who cares? So, because you have kids I have to lower price of blue crystals I put on the market? What’s the argument here lmao

The only thing that would make the tripod change better is it being a roster-wide unlock for all characters of the same class.
I bought full tripod sets for 3x mayhem zerkers, 3x reflux sorcs, 3x bards rip
Its only a handfull of player that complain here on Forum. Not the majority.
Its an MMO Progress takes time.
Even a " New Player " need 1-3 Months to get to something in LA. But “New player” have the advantage now with Honing Buffs. etc.
People already forget one thing too. U guys dont have silver Problemm right? Cuz we get since release so much silver. Imagen we dont get so pumped up.
1 Feiton Pass / 3x Power pass / 3x Express Event / 2x Ark pass / idk how many events.
Btw next week Patch is the best one. New/Old Player can get ez 1445 Char in XX amount of time. And can from work around it.
People complain about Steamcharts, if that people compar player numbers they shouldnt play other MMOs, in the end a Game gets new Expansions/Patch number Rises and then it drops.
They should better play some solo offline games.
I mean as long as they keep denying the essential ID system that we need: the game is going to be unrecoverable and we’ll be losing players all the time. Heck it might even be unrecoverable right now if they put in the ID system considering how completely messed up our economies are already thanks to the devs
Just make Pheon more affordable and i don’t mean by that u earn 10 weekly from a event and 25 a month for login reward. Just lower the blue crystal price. It doesn’t matter if 95 blue crystal cost 3k gold if pheon cost less for blue crystals in the first place.
I don’t buy anything else for blue crystal anyway and it’s a joke if u pay 30k gold to gamble 11 stones who cost 100gold each.
I rather pay more for items, stones and tripod than spending all my money into blue crystals.
And there is no point to fight against inflation with the pheon system if there are people out there RMTing from bots while i and also alot of other people play legit. Just make the game more fun for us instead trying to fight RMT u obviously can’t.
The game is more than ok for being playable as f2p. You just have to lower your standarts a bit (you wont compete with whales. Never!). But you can play 100% of the game without spending anything. Just stick with your own group
His numbers may have been an exaggeration but they are hardly untrue.
Why would anyone need that many pheon’s a week? Do you just make a lot of bad purchases and have to replace your accessories all the time?
its cause a lot of people dont sit down and plan their progression , they just buy stuff and waste them other’s plan accordingly how to shop , but we had a lot throw as us so idk how ppl are without
No one would leave just because their tripods were dropped. Let’s be real, if you’re sufficiently geared 4x3 or by this point if you’ve been playing since launch, would have 5x3, then there is no shot that you haven’t done your tripods.
Only people whining are those who don’t invest in their characters and at which case, tripods should be at the bottom of your gear priorities.
That depends on where you are at with your roster. Naturally if you are running 6 raids & busses some of the costs should already be met
But assuming you are upgrading 6 gold earners into relic that’s 134 x 6 (804) Pheon. This is assuming you cut the stone you are after first try.
Over time if you want to continue to progress your roster this is a bullet you’ll eventually have to bite. So even without making any mistakes for someone today that would cost 200k or so just in pheon, before even looking at accessories.

People should stop compare the HYPE Start. Every Game since over 10 years got ALOT of player on Release and droped through the months/years.
If you care so much about “population” go walk with the HYPE TRAIN.
